By the way, since I filmed this video, the additional promotion on MyTheresa is no longer available, but the extra 20% off on Farfetch is still going, so is the extra 20% off promotion on 24S (select sale items)
Brands have gone greedy and now they are panicking because of less sales .. investors are asking for profits And people are not buying So more sales Who cares they are all crazy expensive these days .. Even top 1% cannot afford
The prices have been going up substantially over the last several years, I wonder if this also means that they have hit a ceiling of sorts.... let's see
@@SavvyLuxurywithLiza I am not sure if there is a ceiling . At what ever price they sell a group of people will be willing to buy But it only means less sales from Aspirational customers ..
Yes, very true, should have mentioned that... and the fact that they are not easily accessible, which still supports the exclusivity of the brand (the sales aside)
If a financial metric such as discounting dictates your fashion taste, 1) you are a conservative person who dresses not for self-expression but to signal money 2) you are anyway being ripped off because the hierarchies of brands you mention are often being created by one entity (the conglomerate behind the superior and inferior brand)
I get what you are saying, but this is really more about a discussion on why sales have seemingly become so much more prominent - they are difficult not to notice, no matter whether you are participating in them or not!

Probably because people realize the quality isn't there anymore, and you're just paying for A Walmart quality purse with a designer name on it.
The decline in quality is really disappointing, that is very true!
