Word of advice, if none of these things work with what the guy is saying try to use the tip of the pencil and rub it on the ear buds charger part where it connects to the buds and the charging part of the buds themselves. This almost instantly worked for me. It is the graphite in the pencil that charges the bud case.
Dude WTF it totally worked! My left earbud was sounding very low, so I removed the grill and cleaned the grill with sanitizer. It works fine now. Thanks mate!

Thank you so much, all you have to do is use a little bit of sanitizer (1 drop) and gentaly clean the inner black cover with a clean cloth
