Girl, if you want to cry, cry. When I turned 29, my depression and anxiety came at an all time high because I was high-functioning anxiety and by suppressing my feelings and thoughts, my depression became worse. Focus on yourself and learn about yourself. We're all here for you girl. ❤

I had the opposite experience with mental health. I thought I had minor anxiety and depression, but it was mostly undiagnosed ADHD induced anxiety and minor depression. I wanted to do things but didn’t know why I couldn’t get myself to do it. And the longer I didn’t do it, the more the shame spiral and harder to get started. I’m glad you’re implementing healthier routines! It’s definitely a struggle. Thank you for showing your struggle, so the rest of us know that we aren’t alone in this. We got this!!! One day at a time! Hugs! 🤗

recommend hanging a sheer drape from ceiling to floor next to the bed to create a sense of privacy. When friends come over, there is a sense of separation with a sheer curtain.❤
I've been living with depression for a long time, and that in itself made me write a book about it, plus the trauma I've had endured. To whomever reading in the comment section, just know you're not alone and I'm here if you ever need someone to talk to.
Hope you feel better soon. I am not a religious person, but when I was feeling down and in a funk, I found that prayer helped me. Ever since I started each day saying that I was grateful helped me put things into perspective. People pray and wish to be in our place whether it be good health or success and sometimes we forget how blessed we are to just be able to live and breath. Also I found it helpful to only put 2-5 important tasks on the daily to-do list so that you don’t get overwhelmed and feel like a failure for procrastinating. Every win counts exponentially so make it easier and have a smaller list.
Thank you for sharing and talking about something that isn’t easy to talk about! You should be proud of taking things day by day and taking care of yourself. Admire your friendships! Also missed seeing John in your videos! Such a great friend ❤

I relate to you. The numbness, apathy, sadness and the worst of it, hopelessness, it all sucks. You confuse it with ADHD, anxiety, stresses, OCDs, when it's just the little old depression. I also opted for a non-medication solution. Fortunately, I had the possibility for it. It is a hard path to take, but if you’re doing something, even the little things, it gets better with the time. I wish you a lot of healing and happiness❤

Thank you for being so open and honest. Depression and anxiety is very real. When it hit me I did a lot of research. For sure a lack of nutrients can be a cause. Vitamin B is another deficiency that can cause depression. It was one of the first things my doctor checked. I am happy you are taking steps to feel better and not just jumping on the medicine band wagon which can just be a band-aid. Its best to find the root cause and yes in the end sometimes you do need the medicine...I did. There is no shame in that. I hope you can find your inner happiness.
I believe that you are a beautiful person who daily makes the world better with all your positive vibes and realness. Depression is hard, but if you stay honest with yourself and just focus on being your best daily, you will be fine. Ps. Journal everything and reflect on your journey and greatness because you are great...

I read melody first book codependent no more and that one. They’re such amazing books. Codependency is just not heavy talked about and I believe it should be. It’s a real think…. And I’ve notice how recognize it in me really helped me be a healthy person and pay more attention to the things.

It's supposedly bad feng shui to be able to see the headboard side of the bed (i.e. to be able to see the person) from the front door, as all the "chi" would hit the person. I would recommend moving it back to the opposite wall or even have it against the brick wall and off to the side. But if you don't believe in feng shui then nevermind!
