Rust is an action-packed Survival adventure game. Whilst PvP is a dominant part of the game, base building and coming up with unique constructions whilst also trying to survive in the harsh lands of Rust is what makes Rust.. well Rust. Usually playing Solo definitely makes this game harder but it's the reason I'm always crawling back!

I hadn't noticed, that is not a bad thing (it is for me being an old fart) I am retired and time passes so fast. I do not recommend getting old but if you can stay young at heart and mind it does soften the blow. All good things come to those that wait, so I know this is going to be good even though I forgot 🤪😆

As you say, in hindsight it is so clear... not having a flank base up on the top of the hill to give you overwatch seems like a bit too much of an oversight. But I appreciate that you'd already done enough farming/building through adversity already. Glad to see the resurrection of "Oh my days!" :D

Cool building spot, with the new update what makes it easier to build foundations in rocks this would be Killer.
Cali bro elite video as always. one little tip , when you empty a tc there is still a "grace period" before the base starts decaying. one way around it is after emptying tc , you change the skin of part you want gone and it starts decaying instantly! it's hella useful if you go deep on some geezer with db and get locked in base with their loot and no way out, just get auth , empty tc and reskin a wall and watch it melt away instantly lol.
This is a great tip I just used it on my wipe on a group I went deep on and got stuck in the tc room they closed the garage door but I used this on the back wall they didn't even know I was gone lol
Just this second finished watching you and Bluebuds. What a cracking two hour video, well done both of you. So what's in store for round two if it's OK I call it that. This is a good night for sure. I'm having a break from playing (not RUST I don't play it, but playing in general) I'll get back to it tomorrow. I am on Far Cry 6 and this is my 3rd attempt. I wasn't feeling it so had some time off and tried again. I am loving it this time. I was a little burnt out I think. Got Dying Light 2 next, I was simply not feeling the games so took a long break. Still love watching others play though. Anyway, no one is going to read this but I got it off my chest..........

Base had so much potential. One more jumpup to shooting floor from the loot room would've been great, so you dont have to struggle walking through your base when your front door is blown up.
And I think you shouldn't have let the starterbase decay. A good flankbase. A few more 2x1's around it and a nice wall so no one could peek you from above.

That escape was awesome.
I knew it was a mistake not expanding the new build spot a little and stashing some loot there. But that's rust for you. (you also need to get at least one external on your bases in the most likely raid direction)

I think one reason your base survived, because it was a free hand base, they couldn't tell where anything was so they had to hunt for it using up too many rockets.
