- Hey there, guys and gals! :D I've been asked to do this video countless times, so here it is! :D It's my guitar collection! Or rather, most of it! :D I don't have super high end guitars as I don't think there is any need for them unless you really have the money, and will get to use them all of the time! :D This collection is made up of guitars that mean something to me, and I hope you enjoy it! :D

I’m a bass player, however I love all guitars, especially that telecaster! My uncle has a really nice Stratocaster, and I praise it every time I see it :D

Nope, this one doesn't have EMG's xD Jim Root's guitar is a full Fender Tele with EMG's, but to keep the price down in the Squire model, they replaced them! :D
TinglyShoop ASMR I mean the pick-ups on your Jim Root telecaster are EMG's ... Lol how Can Jim Root ever play that heavy on a Fender tele ? I thought he has asked a custom tele model with EMG's to Fender and Squier
Threaglon My Jim Root isn't a Fender! :D Like I said, Squire replaced the EMG's to help keep the cost down! :D It's still technically a custom! :D

I have 2 geetars, one dont work sadly. The one that doesn't work is a Ibanez GIO series that i got for $10, along with a Bass for an added $10. (I guess i would have 3 geetars then) The one that does work is a Squire Jazzmaster contemporary series. SURF PEARL which is one of of my favourite colours. Been playing it non-stop for weeks now. I do have to thank my dad for helping me get my first and 2nd guitar. He has supported my habbits and truely changed my life. Im not totally sure how the GIO broke, my dad and i think its a wiring issue, bur regardless it served me well for about a year, learned my first songs on that geetar. I will be hanging it on my wall as a keepsake or a memory until i can get it fixed. The jazzmaster has been a game changer, it is pure bliss to play honestly. I thought i would never reach the skill that im at right now, but after playing with the Jazzmaster I have improved 10 fold. I believe its because of the way I bonded with it. It is something that I knew i wanted as soon as i saw it. When i first played it I looked at my dad dead in the eye and said "This is the one." When I got home I did my chores plugged it in and played for for hours upon hours straight. I never felt better playing something that I felt was truely me. If you're still reading thank you, just thought I would share my story.
That's an awesome comment, dude! Thank you for that! Some people would argue that the guitar doesn't make you better, but I absolutely agree with you! If you're playing a guitar that just sits right with you, it can build the confidence in your playing, and help you to make the improvements that you want! (of course going for a pure $$$ guitar right off the bat isn't recommended though, but you know what I mean.) I'm glad you've got a nice little collection, and I hope you get your Gio fixed some time in the future!
@@TinglyShoopASMR sadly haven't gotten the gio fixed yet, however I now have an EVH 5150 stealth that I adore just as much as my jazzmaster. My jazzmaster is currently used for dropped tracks while my Evh is used for a nice lead tone and for all of my standard e-d needs. Still loving this video and thank you for replying to my original comment!

MrsSomthinSick You should try this: at every Pet supply Shop (is that what You call it? ) You can grab those small soft cat toy balls for about 3-5 Euros/dollars/pounds etc. You put these between your Fingers and kinda roll it around. it relaxes Your knuckles and also is a good stretching training. it really helped me, i had the same problem... (Sorry for my terrible english)

Love the 5 string Westfield bass , Westfield basses are super rare , they almost never turn up for sale , Tony Lewis from the outfield played a red 4 string Westfield in the promotional video for " everytime you cry" (not to be confused with the official music video where he played a red spector) lol but this one ua-cam.com/video/-IUYYPRwoGI/v-deo.html

Close enough. They are the same line.
Either way, if you aren't gonna play them, clean them and store them correctly, otherwise that corrodes the hell out of them. it causes rust and deterioration of the fretboard.
