This is a Model D. The endgate ended with Model b. The model C was the first to loose the endgate, due to patent difficulties with the British Edison companies.

the machine is running way to fast, should be 160 rpm...
I counted 170 rpm, and easily adjusted it to 160rpm with the underfloor speed control
