It makes a very nice surging sound, high then low, high then low. Almost like it will "lull" a person to sleep. Very relaxing actually. Very nice feature if you have to run it all night during a power outage. Good video, thank you. We wish you much success with your coffee truck service! Cheers.

@@aaanton11 It took nearly 2 yrs. for Home Depot (Arizona, USA) to get the Honda EU7000 back in stock. Before that I came close to buying the "Powerhorse 7500i" inverter. $2,149.00 after 10% coupon on Amazon. I don't know if the Powerhorse is offered in the UK. It is even quieter than the Honda.
Today's Home Depot price for the Honda 7000: $4,999.00 ($4,499.00 with my 10% military discount).

We don't have the Sensi in Australia but we do have (for example) a 7kW DeWalt. Now I know why the EU70is (fuel injection) is $2k AUD more than the slightly higher output carb'd DeWalt.
Our Honda is now at 6800 hours and not missed a beat, I would buy another Honda tomorrow if I could, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
We do - I have one.
Heavier on fuel, but significantly cheaper to buy. Might be worth doing the calculation to see when the additional fuel consumption swallows up the price saving and 0.2 l per hour consumption advantage of the Honda unit. Must admit though, money no object, I’d have the Honda, if for no other reason that it’s easier on the ears.
At £1.80 per litre 5600 hours is £9000 for the Honda, the Senci would be £10800 for the 5600 hours so £1800 difference in 2 years of running, the Honda at the time we bought it was £3400, so it has just paid its difference in fuel alone, and its been 100% reliable, enough said Thanks Dave for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 Correction: the Sensi/A-ipower uses 6.5 liters more then the Honda for the same run time per tank as you stated vs the Sensi/A-ipower that is a huge cost difference over 5600 hrs, it is far more then 0.2 liters per hour its 2.5 times that amount or more. depending on run time per tank at your usage.
At 12hr run time per tank the usage difference is .542 liter per hour difference .542 liters x 5600 hours = 3035.20 liters x £1.80 per liter = £5463.36 more fuel then the Honda in two years.
I've got one, also going strong! no issues!

I've been looking around at generators incase of power cuts and originally was looking at the solar power banks. Now I'm on to diesel generators and have learned a fair bit off this one video. Good to watch somebody who uses these type of devices regularly.
Any cheaper recommendations for an emergency only unit?

Most do now due to euro 5. Most small engines running too lean to meet emission limits.

its not junk. for people using such a generator 1-2 times a month there is absolutly no reason to spend 4500€ on the honda. i have got the 6000 watts version and it works just fine.
like I said long term you get what you pay for-That chinese rig will run great for about 6 years or so then it will break down or the engine will blow up-they look great from the outside but the inside they use all cheap components-LCT chinese engines suck!!@@xkurtknox

Sell that Chinese junk and get another Honda Asap. JMO The Honda has 5600Hrs has a 19.2 liter fuel tank, the A-ipower has a 26 liter fuel tank and runs about the same amount of time as the Honda therefore doing 5600 hrs the A-ipower will cost you 38080 liters more fuel over the same amount of time, How does anyone actually save money in the long run and I seriously doubt the A-ipower will make 5600hrs TBH. 5600 hrs x 6.8 liters additional to the Honda = 38080 liters x your cost per liter????
Yes, over a long period of time the Honda pays for itself. It is a wonderful piece of equipment and cannot be without it. The sensei on the other hand is not a bad machine just for a backup so they both serve a purpose. Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
