Woo! I run a game every week! I am the dungeon master! Though most of my characters when I do play as a player are Chaotic Good, love that allignment. One of my favorite example of Chaotic Good is John Constantine.

It have a Je ne sais quoi who make me watch him to the end instead of closing my eyes and going to sleep (wich isn't bad too). The subject, the environement and the idea of having an angel and a devil on my shoulder for real is awesome. I was relax, listening to questions and the answers of my angel and devil till the devil said "Eat the squirrel" Then I laugh till the end of the video and I don't know wich class I am. Even though I respect and I appreciate the amount of work and effort you put in all your videos, I kinda miss the good old days when you weren't using a green background for your videos, when we could actually see what was going on instead of half your face, or half the stuff youre writing down. To me, the artificial background is way too static, if feels fake and, I don't know, I just don't really feel comforted by all that. I do appreciate the little details, like your cat passing by, the shadows moving,... It just feels more realistic, and I think that's something that triggers my ASMR; the contemplation of all these details. Anyway! Thank you, yet another video that will allow me to sleep like a baby =P

I wouldn't say Dexter is lawful evil, because he breaks the law. He's just good at not getting caught. He's more chaotic good, maybe chaotic neutral. lawful evil is like...scientology. They're not technically doing anything illegal, but they're siphoning money and sucking in their victims.

I thought since Dexter has inherently evil tendencies that he chooses to take out on only other evil characters, he couldn't be good. I am probably wrong though (but I sort of love discussing these, cause they are pretty interesting, no?)
Heather Feather I'm pretty sure by definition Lawful means obeying the law. Good is a perspective - there definitely were people who thought Dexter was doing good by killing off murderers and making the city safer.

Chaotic good or chaotic neutral?
Heather Feather I think Arya fits Chaotic Neutral perfectly - she has a code of ethics, but it is entirely her own, and she seeks to murder those who have done her or her loved ones wrong. She doesn't just want to kill "evil" people or "bad" people, she seeks personal vengeance. Neutral is self-serving. So is Arya. It could even be possible to label her as evil, since she seeks to murder. I do think neutral fits her better. As for the others: I'm not familiar enough with Lex Luthor to say Darth Vader - Yes, for reasons I will expound upon in a bit. I've never seen Farscape and I don't know enough about Star Trek for the Borg. Saruman - This is questionable. He was in the same order as Gandalf, but then turned to serve Sauron instead. Since there are no set in stone "laws" in Middle-Earth, it's hard to say for certain. I would say that, in this case, I would define Saruman as Chaotic, because he is assisting in the formation of an army that is trying to take over their world. That is quite chaotic. Grima is just a lackey, and kind of a weak-minded character. I think lawful is fine for him, but he doesn't really do enough for me to be sure one way or another. Cersei is a perfect Lawful Evil, and this ties into Palpatine as well. I think there are three "true" lawful evils - Businesses, politicians, and religions. Cersei is, in her time period, a politician. She helps make the laws, and helps enforce them, but does truly evil things that are within the confines of the laws she has set. For the same reason I believe this label works for Palpatine and Darth Vader. Palpatine is the same, though the prequels are such a mess it's hard to figure out exactly what he's doing. I would say that yes, he is lawful evil. I'm surprised Jules and Vincent are on here. They seem highly chaotic or "neutral" evil to me. Neutral evil because, as hitmen, they'll kill anyone that they are paid to. Chaotic, because, well, they'll kill anyone. You just have to pay them. Look at Pulp Fiction - chaos follows them everywhere. The Bride is just out for revenge. She happens to possess a deadly skillset that allows her revenge to be particularly bloody, but, again, I wouldn't define this as lawful because she is murdering. She is another good example of a "neutral" character - she's not going around killing people because she can, or because they're "bad", she's doing it to a specific group for a specific reason, much like Arya. That's just my interpretation of it all.
I have never reached the end of this video. I always fall asleep or occasionally move onto a different roleplay, so Im watching this again, wide awake to try and see how this ends.
Hey Heather I played a early Sonic game too. However because it requires 2 people to get all of the chaos emeralds in the game I was playing I had to wait 12 years to see Sonic turn gold because I never had anyone that could help me.

I've been thinking about changing my species and becoming a fruit, but I don't want to be a mundane or common fruit, I was thinking along the lines of dragon fruit or pomegranate. I fluctuate so much for each answer. In anything to do with authority I immediately reject it, calling for neutral. The "community" questions I was ready to bale on it asap, thus evil. Giving food to a squirrel, i would give it food, cuz poor squirrel. So good on that one. I think I'm neutral in total though. I set my own "rules" for myself, and don't really care what other people think of them. And i don't care for much human life unless it effects me personally. Thanks for the video :) Gave me a lot of insight into my thought processes.
That makes you lawful evil. If you have a code of ethics you follow and are willing to do things that are generally considered bad (like steal or kill) but won't break your own rules that is lawful evil, you're lawful evil. Welcome to the club.

Hey Heather, not sure if you will read this, but a way to fix keying errors such as this is to color correct and stuff (as i assume you did) to make the keying work, then duplicate your footage and get rid of all the color correction and keying, then set it as an alpha matte of the other layer, so essentially the top layer is going to look normal because it is uncolor-corrected footage using the keyed footage as a matte, if that makes sense.

IAmBadatStarcraft I thought lawful evil was a subjective law...like one's own code of conduct that is self serving. What do you think of these examples of lawful evil from a google search?

Heather Feather I think Arya fits Chaotic Neutral perfectly - she has a code of ethics, but it is entirely her own, and she seeks to murder those who have done her or her loved ones wrong. She doesn't just want to kill "evil" people or "bad" people, she seeks personal vengeance. Neutral is self-serving. So is Arya.
It could even be possible to label her as evil, since she seeks to murder. I do think neutral fits her better.
As for the others:

Darth Vader - Yes, for reasons I will expound upon in a bit.
I've never seen Farscape and I don't know enough about Star Trek for the Borg.
Saruman - This is questionable. He was in the same order as Gandalf, but then turned to serve Sauron instead. Since there are no set in stone "laws" in Middle-Earth, it's hard to say for certain. I would say that, in this case, I would define Saruman as Chaotic, because he is assisting in the formation of an army that is trying to take over their world. That is quite chaotic.
Grima is just a lackey, and kind of a weak-minded character. I think lawful is fine for him, but he doesn't really do enough for me to be sure one way or another.
Cersei is a perfect Lawful Evil, and this ties into Palpatine as well. I think there are three "true" lawful evils - Businesses, politicians, and religions.
Cersei is, in her time period, a politician. She helps make the laws, and helps enforce them, but does truly evil things that are within the confines of the laws she has set. For the same reason I believe this label works for Palpatine and Darth Vader.
Palpatine is the same, though the prequels are such a mess it's hard to figure out exactly what he's doing. I would say that yes, he is lawful evil.
I'm surprised Jules and Vincent are on here. They seem highly chaotic or "neutral" evil to me. Neutral evil because, as hitmen, they'll kill anyone that they are paid to. Chaotic, because, well, they'll kill anyone. You just have to pay them. Look at Pulp Fiction - chaos follows them everywhere.
The Bride is just out for revenge. She happens to possess a deadly skillset that allows her revenge to be particularly bloody, but, again, I wouldn't define this as lawful because she is murdering. She is another good example of a "neutral" character - she's not going around killing people because she can, or because they're "bad", she's doing it to a specific group for a specific reason, much like Arya.
That's just my interpretation of it all.

Who is "Lenny"? Are you Lenny? What's it like being a tomato? Would you recommend it? I've been thinking about changing my species and becoming a fruit, but I don't want to be a mundane or common fruit, I was thinking along the lines of dragon fruit or pomegranate.

I fluctuate so much for each answer. In anything to do with authority I immediately reject it, calling for neutral. The "community" questions I was ready to bale on it asap, thus evil. Giving food to a squirrel, i would give it food, cuz poor squirrel. So good on that one.
I think I'm neutral in total though. I set my own "rules" for myself, and don't really care what other people think of them. And i don't care for much human life unless it effects me personally.

That makes you lawful evil. If you have a code of ethics you follow and are willing to do things that are generally considered bad (like steal or kill) but won't break your own rules that is lawful evil, you're lawful evil. Welcome to the club.

Hey Heather, not sure if you will read this, but a way to fix keying errors such as this is to color correct and stuff (as i assume you did) to make the keying work, then duplicate your footage and get rid of all the color correction and keying, then set it as an alpha matte of the other layer, so essentially the top layer is going to look normal because it is uncolor-corrected footage using the keyed footage as a matte, if that makes sense.
