it kills me that people willl gladly consume content and entertainment from people but refuse to consider that yall are human beings and that their vote has a direct impact on you. its also reflective of who they care about, and who they think deserves rights. people that dont want politics addressed are often people that get to live their lives unscathed (mostly) when evil politicians take rights away. its almost like voting has consequences! like why are you watching people when that vote or lack thereof will actively impact the likelihood of them being ousted from society and having hate crimes committed against them etc thank you for making your stances clear 🍉 also opinion is the point of the show its in the title, like-

In Wisconsin, where I live, all of our major candidates are pro genocide. We cannot work to free Palestine at a government based level with any of the federal level or with either of the presidential candidates. One of the only Pro-Palestinian and anti-genocide legislatures was just voted out of office because of AIPAC propaganda and $$$. Free Palestine, Free Congo and Sudan and be wise with your vote because almost every candidate would kill and torture us all if it serves their power and bank account.
People are saying “you don’t need to explain yourself” I disagree. I had a friend for 2 months almost became very close. She assumed I was racist this entire time and felt comfortable to finally share her opinion on other races and I WAS APPALLED and blocked her on everything. I was so offended that this entire time she thought I was just like her, a bigot racist.
I’m a trans man and one of my coworkers, assuming I was just “one of the guys”, made a transphobic joke around me and multiple other male coworkers. I looked him dead in the eyes and said “you know I’m trans, right?” Super uncomfortable dead silence. He avoided me for the rest of his shift. He did genuinely apologize to me the next day we worked together, and he doesn’t treat me any differently. Even if he still has those thoughts, he at least keeps them to himself now 🤷🏼♂️
