    Wow. Quite the operation you &Ave going there. Beautiful farm. Sounds like you had a great growing season. 300 bushel yield!!! God bless you for all you do too help feed the world. We can't survive without farmers.

    Can’t imagine 300 but corn.
    Our area 120 is out of this world. This year drought, going to be 25-60

    Way back when I was in FFA I worked my butt off to get 100 bushel corn. Even got a certificate for it. Back in the day of 42 inch rows and ear corn. Then came the Vietnam War and moved to the Big City. No more farming.

    So I have a question. This early in the season, why not let it dry in the field opposed to use the drier?

      We farm around 2700 acres so the sooner we start the better

      @@pullinya100% also once it starts to dry down its a lot more prone to butt shattering, which is when kernels fly off the bottom of the cob and are lost by the cornhead, so as you wait for it to get closer to that target 15% moisture you face more risk of losses from that.

      Marvin has 8 total. We only using 4 at the moment.

    Never showed moniter in combine showing 300 bu /ac it looks awful green yet

    If you are getting 300 bu, then you can afford 2 dryers
