- TFT LCD is a variant of a liquid-crystal display (LCD) that uses thin-film-transistor (TFT) technology to improve image qualities such as addressability and contrast. In this tutorial we are going to show how to interface a 1.44″ TFT color display based on the ST7735 driver with Arduino.

can i use 1,8 inch screen instead of 1.44 inch???
i made the same connection described at the video and the TFT screen there is nothing
thanks by brudda got that ting workin now :)
Thank you , it's woring!
My display (128x128, 1.44" SPI) is labelled differently (from front, left->right)
VCC, GND, CS, RES, A0, SDA, SCK, LED.
What are the uno pins needed ?
I have tried a lot of combinations but no results, except a light grey screen.
same, A0 is the DC pin, LED is the BL pin
in my screen nothing change it is only white
Did you solve it?
@@alisouzr no :(
@@enesozyank7904 I bought it yesterday and I have the same problem
My TFT screen is still blank, when I press reset on the arduino the text on the screen is very dim and then disappears
Did you solve it?
@@alisouzr I was having the same problem. I had connected the VCC pin to 3.3V. and after connecting to the 5V pin the white screen is gone.
@@GermanNavarroD I'll test it now
@@alisouzr did it work?
@@GermanNavarroD no...
Just tried it. Didn't work. I found it: at 2:27 you invert 8 and 9... Thanks for sharing.
In reality your pinout is good and working. But in the graphictest sketch, tft_dc is 8 tft_rst is 9.
the code please
?
what about touch screen fnction?
This type of display has no touch screeen . If you want a touch screen check out ua-cam.com/video/jDbdt7-aDDE/v-deo.html
Compilation error for any map type? Too bad!
The Arduino is 5 volt but the display is 3.3 volt this is misleading to show it without a CD4050
This display has an onboard 3.3V @ 150mA LDO regulator and is 5V compatible! It can therefore be used with 3.3V or 5V logic.
white screen

Same and haven’t been able to solve it yet
