dude, if you want to be a fire alarm inspector...you can do it. It all starts with interest. You are so young, you can get qualifications under your belt. With passion like yours, anything you set your mind to will be yours if you dont give up.
its really nice to see someone talk about their niche interests. A lot of people form their personality around consumerism and entertainment. Cool of you to go your own direction
I have homeless pulling our alarm multiple times a day usually 10pm to 2am every other day at the moment. It's the prison fire alarm noise, the insane high electrical screech. I just gotta say.. i am so sick of fire alarms right now 😂 been a week since it happened cause lots of us from the complex chased them down 3 blocks lol Edit: the alarm you played at 2:44 is the alarm we have. Literally made my stomach drop when i heard you play it lmao. Love the passion though, subbed
The video I didn't know I needed. My favourite is the SpectrAlert, big nostalgia. I always appreciated hellish noise. EST Integrity sounds like someone is getting buzzed into an apartment building. The Notifier sounds like a whining cat crossed with a baby. Any recommendation for the coolest-sounding home fire alarm?
@@mattthebassboy Thanks. Sounds better than what I've got for sure. Mine are just this high pitched screech that freaks the pets out and hurts my ears.
I've heard Spectralert Advances in person before in a Hotel Lobby. They were loud, But Wheelock As and Mt are even worse. My Elementary school had Wheelock AS's for indoors and Mt's for Outside. My Classroom had a Wheelock As, and it made my ears bleed every time it went off. I hated unexpected Fire Alarms sounding in Elementary.
You forget the sound of code-3 fire alarm bells as they sound very musical and very good good hear but hearing these in real life, they're very loud and very common up in Canada
I’m watching this on a plane at 10:44 pm. I found it super interesting but realized I had to turn my headphones off because every time he played one of the alarms the guy next to me would wake up. I don’t think he realized why he woke up tho. This video is amazing tho‼️‼️‼️‼️
I have some really cool fire alarms/smoke detectors that connect to my phone and will automatically alert me and the fire department if there’s a fire. Technology is awesome
this makes me wonder how much time and thought actually goes in to these sounds...how much R&D and testing happens before a sound is settled on? Matt, if you have any knowledge of VSTs or DAWs (both for making digital music) I think it would be cool if you made one to see what your ideal fire alarm sounds like.
yo wassup lets talk about something similar, Smoke Alarms. Waddya think about the trend with black people where you can almost always hear the smoke alarm battery beep goin off in the background when they record? Maybe something to do with the frequency of the sound.
Id like to hear from all of the community representatives. the black people, the fire alarm peopls, even the arsonists. Come on guys lets figure this out
You can definitely work towards getting a degree or certification in becoming a fire alarm technician. Sounds like you definitely have the knowledge, you just have to put in the time for the certificate and experience.
Didn't expect a lecture on fire alarms today but im not complaining!!! 😊

we are all fire alarm fans, thats why youtube recommended this to our community

As someone who knows nothing about fire alarms this video was very informational thanks Matt God Bless you
this is actually awesome
Never thought about it before but now that I think about it fire alarms are pretty sick. I love fire drills.

In my house there is a an old (non functioning) fair alarm that is pretty much a dish shaped bell that gets hit by a little arm.

You’re young enough to have Wheelock MT horns in elementary school. I remember having mechanical horns for all fire alarms
