I've always wondered that! My dog seems to like me the most but he definitely follows my mom around wherever she goes. If she leaves the house or goes into a shop, he starts whining/barking. Never does it for me tho 😅

I just hope that when aliens come we look at them as peacefully as we hope dogs look at us. It’s how I feel about my mountain cur- she’s just smart enough to know we’re different, just calm enough to try to build a relationship nonetheless. Species and intelligence doesn’t have to be a divider.
