    Last fall we tested the PSP Sweeper from Sweep-All, but only just barely. We've been waiting for the snow to melt away to test it again, this time on paved surfaces as well as lawns. We're hoping to sweep up everything we find, including rocks and sand, branches, a chunk of 4x4" post, driveway markers, and a whole lot of aeration plugs.
    How does this mighty sweeper fare behind our John Deere 1025r? Watch the video to find out!

    Although this is an old video, I felt compelled to comment being a satisfied new owner of a PSP4360-pto driven "60 with the hydraulic dump option working off of rear remotes.
    First of all, thank GWT for all your content. Without your channel, I would have likely never came across this attachment along with all the other knowledge I've gained because of your efforts.
    I have had my eye on this for a couple years now trying to justify the cost. My largest need is black walnut removal, along with all the normal spring/fall cleanup tasks.
    Overall impressed by the quality and packaging. Extremely well built and anticipate a long life span. No disappointments whatsoever.
    My real life usage so far behind a Kubota L3901.......
    Walnuts 👍👍 I'd say it picks up 95% besides the tire tracks on your tractor. It also collects all the leaves and other debis a walnut tree expels.
    No pine cones to pick up, but pine needles can be done. It took me a two or three passes, but it did remove them.
    Leaves and Sticks-leaves of course, although they can accumulate in front of the sweeper requiring multiple passes or playing with the height setting. Sticks for the most part were swept, not all, but most.
    Lastly I will say it does do a great job at detaching.
    Overall if you need a removal solution to a nut, acorn, cone or other like debris I'd say absolutely. If it's just sticks and leaves I'm sure a more cost effective solution is available.
    Once again, thanks GWT for the 5%. Everyone keep committing, that's how we learn.

    Me: Sit here and watch jealously.
    Here, middle of North Carolina, we've gotten so much rain. I got more of a swamp than a yard. Tried mowing yesterday for the first time. Stopped half way through... well, did more damage than good.
    I'm wanting to plant my garden and work on my yard. Its not happening anytime soon.
    Guess I'll be hold off on buying that new plugger.

    wow looks like it works great. One thing I never understood is why they put pneumatic tires on this type of equipment. I have never had luck with those small air filled tires and I don't see a reason why they can't be a foam filled tire one less thing to deal with. Great piece of equipment though.

    the machine could be used to clean up cigarette butts, broken glass and other trash from parking lots, sidewalks, alleyways and other rough urban landscapes. contact municipal departments of sanitation for consultation.
    however, use on rough landscapes/concrete/asphalt would certainly wear out the bristles and other components more quickly.

    Thanks for the video Courtney... I have had my eye on that exact machine for a few years now. Sweep-All website only had only 1 video that showed the PTO type Sweep-All. Thank you for sharing the videos for it.
    I've been wanting to get one for my dad's house that sits on 2.5 acres with lots of Maple and Pine trees. Every Spring tons of small sticks and twigs are everywhere, but the $$$ is hard to justify for it. Plus I'm also wondering how easy is it to transport on trailers?? TY!

      Likewise I have had my eye on this for a couple years and just pulled the trigger, it's arriving in a couple days. My purpose is leaves, sticks and primarily black walnuts. If you have any feedback on your experience so far I'd appreciate any pointers. Thanks.

      Does not break down easily at least from what I can tell. However, this is would go against the concept in my opinion. It's a heavy duty, commercial grade unit. Not for light residential use. Thanks for watching!

    Nice piece of equipment, however, why all that dust??? To remedy this problem, simply replace the top screen with the same thing that is used elsewhere on the dumpster and problem solved or if needed, only use a screen in the very rear portion of that top cover so it allows for air to be expelled. Do a test with a tarpaulin and see how it goes.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  3 роки тому +1

    I thought the playbook is to leave the core plugs and they will dissolve in about a week? I heard it's good for the lawn.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  3 роки тому +1

      Everything has a trade off. I have left the plugs in forever, but trying something new this year. I mow 1" tall and under, so an extremely level lawn is highly important. I go overboard on soil ammendments, fert, etc anyways. I'm not worried about it. Thanks for watching!

      @@GoodWorksTractors Price is pretty steep though.. I'm bit disappointed. I thought it would be less then half that amount. I'm sure it will last a lifetime and works great, but DAMMM! $6500 is a crazy price for that with sooooo many more options out there.. Maybe not as cool, but just as effective. Great video as always keep them coming.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  3 роки тому +1

      There's lots of other options out there built to this level of quality that not only sweep the debris, but also collect and power dump? Dethatch, collect leaves, acorns, walnuts, pine cones, apples, goose poop, construction debris, parking lot clean up, etc? This unit is designed for the commercial customer and is well priced for the capabilities offered. Payback is quick especially given that many of these tasks have little to know competition allowing a contractor to be well compensated for his time.
      Take a look at brooms in general, they are very expensive and none include a collection hopper. Instead, pushing debris along requiring you to scoop up. I've stated that this is not a private, home owner, type of attachment, but specifically intended for commercial customers or large homesteads with many annual tasks that could make quick work with a tool such as this one.

      @@GoodWorksTractors, a skid loader mounted "pickup broom" has same capability, but at a higher cost than this unit.
