I know how it feels, Mike. Back in January we lost my Great Grandma to MRSA. From the time I was 2 til the time I was 16 my Grandma always had Thanksgiving with us. When her arthritis wasn't acting up, she would bake pies. Last year, my Grandma couldn't even sit with us because she was limited to her hospice bed. I remember her being very feeble and her appetite wasn't there like it usually was. I remember setting with her and just holding her hand and talking to her. The same thing occurred for Christmas. She was just in pain and I wanted her to not be in pain. I wanted things to be normal. I wanted my Grandma. I remember this past Thanksgiving, I just had this sad seed planted inside of me because I missed her laugh and all of her stories. But I know that Grandpa was there with you just like my Grandma is always there with me. Love you Mike.

You know as a mother I can understand taking up for your child, but what about all the times that Bridgette bullies Jennifer? Bridgette is a big girl who can defend herself. My entire day of TGG was cloudy, and our sunset was beautiful too... plus, on my way back from grandma’s, we stopped by Safeway (10min before it closed), I had to carry Dr. Pepper and Coke Zero cans, and my parents were getting frozen desserts. Then right when we left, this lady came late and the shop employee said “Sorry, we’re closed!” And this lady said “Do you have a dime to spare!?” Honestly, I think she likes spending dimes in a coin bank. Then we went home and ate our frozen desserts. Pumpkin pie is my favorite TGG dessert.
I think you should get the boys something from Grandpa for christmas. I know they miss him so much even if its just a christmas card with some words grandpa would say to them.
