Vintage Vehicles at Conwy 05/05/2018|Llandudno Transport Festival Conwy Road Run

Here we see some vintage vehicles by the bridges and castle of Conwy. The event was enjoyable, as it alway is, and there were many good examples of Leylands, Austins, AECs, ERFs, Fodens, Bedfords, Scammels, Bristols and many more, most of them painted in colourful liveries. We even saw a replica of Llandudno & Colwyn Bay Electric Railway Tram no.7., belonging to the LL&CBER Society, which can been seen out and about on the back of AEC 742FUL. Can be seen at 07:07 (in the video).

Traction engines: 03:02-04:02 & 47:08-50:10
Tractors: starting at 36:24
Lorries, vans and buses are seen through out the video (mainly lorries).
Vintage cars are at the middle parts of this video.

This has just made my day seeing the tram on the back of the old vintage lorry and trailer brilliant and all the old stuff I look at it and I think fo myself not made like this any more

I'm glad you enjoyed my footage. I took the opportunity to film everything that come through, which I'm glad I did, because it hasn't happened for 2 years and the future of this event is uncertain. You're definitely right, these vehicles are full of character and most are well built. Hopefully that tram will carry passengers one day, if the group manage to get some track laid in Llandudno. Sadly the council are not interested and think it would only compete with the Great Orme Tramway. Thanks for your interest. :)

bus's cars trucks even the old steamers , all great , from a time when we made stuff not like now , thank you thatcher you really did a good job killing our engineering industry but thanks ti people preserving that history we can still see some of these wonder full machines still running in great condition , aye !
