You learn a lot watching someone with your experience and expertise tackling something they're not familiar with.
Robot Coupè 👍🏻 it is top of the line professional kitchen kit.
as always interesting content looking forward to the next drop
More to come!
One of the best brands for pro kitchen machines. Very expensive but they are good. Make awesome blenders too.
Nice to see something different. Also nice to see how you deal with moulded grommits/strain relief
Nice to see something other. I like your repairs and accent.
Love the way you work your way around an ubfamiliar tool. Nice job!
Great video, it is more often then you think just bad wiring!
The name of the brand is Robot Coupe by the way.
French company that makes high grade kitchen appliances.
I just learned something usefull.Tnx Dean.
Nice one, as always.
weve got one of these at work and an almost 1m long one, be good to know for when it shits itself how to pull these apart, already had 2 biffed at work.
good to see the psogpone again!
Nice one Dean
Great video as always!
Dean, how do you strip the outer insulation on a cable? And with what tool?
Thanks!
Cheers Dean.
This model I didn't fix yet, but the bigger ones are way more fun to fix 😅 they have screws hidden under the radiator fins and the ones on the handle are under plastic plugs, a real joy to open them 😅 I feel the smell of the machine just watching the video 😂
Some household ones have those hidden screws too. I've got one from the 70s that most likely needs new grease but I haven't tried to get the caps over the screws out yet. I'd also have to get food-safe grease to fix it.
Pronounced RO BO COOP Dean
Swung out of a few of those in my time Deam.... Absolute monster
Finally we found his dark secret at @14:38 He got another Psogpone cheapo drill! The one he tested had finally a good metal chuck on it ...
You have now entered a new phase of your business…..kitchen appliances repair
It's Robot Coupe Dean and that blender alone is about £400 worth of kit., just about the best quality kitchen equipment brand you can get. What was that black sealant you used, I liked the applicator especially? Thanks.
Gasket sealer
Awesome, Dean.
We have one at work, & the cutting head comes off the same way, too.
The cutting head is supposed to come apart for cleaning, but won't.
Can you please disassemble the cutting head?
sorry i cannt, its no longer here
@deandohertygreaser Thanks, Dean, for your fast reply .
I'll use the work process for replacement.
Great job. I've learned a lot from watching you.🍺
Robot? Isn't it just a food blender? Anyway, Deano sorted it!!
Are the 240 volt industrial devices you repair grounded? If so, how? I note that the leads contain only the hot and neutral wires. They don't all appear to be double-insulated. The plugs have three prongs, also unlike US double-insulated devices.

13amp? Maybe I would’ve put a lower amp fuse in it though! Sure it only come with a 2amp fuse in the plug.
Always like the ones where you get something for the first time and you work thru how to take it apart and fix it quickly
So do I
Loading up me blender, mixer n microwave off to " Dean's Tool & Appliance Repairs " 😊
Dean, Just watched your teardown of the 10mm Mellif green drill. Any idea where I can get one? Have looked all over the internet and I cannot find it anywhere. Cheers in advance
Amazon at least here in the US, although they didn’t have that exact model. The one I got is orange and a little bit more heavy duty but it was similarly priced at $40
Do more kitchrn appliances
please could you tell me where you got your drill screw driver bit from
I believe the bits are from Wiha. They are the Drive-Loc VI.
they should be from a WIHA SYSTEM 4 or 6 Set
The bits with indents on the shaft are from Wiha and part of an adjustable (length) set that comes with it's own very specifc handle. The other looks like a standard long length pozi hex bit that you can google.
I was wondering what fuse they fitted in the original plug. It may only need a 5 Amp fuse.
those are pricey, well worth fixing
Looks like a Makita trimmer router.
Robot coupe
I think you should get some glasses if you think there's an 'l' printed anywhere on that machine.
Making a post to sate the hunger of the algorithm deity.
Surely that's a Makita wand blender...
It's coop like chicken not couple , my neighbour works for them, we know him as robot cop as the van has robot coupe on the side
Is there anything you CAN'T fix?!?
Looks like Dean will be on free blended soup's from his new customer
I know this [peace of ship]. Worse ergonomic.
