This is now twice this week that something that Patrick gave tips on showed up in my Box's WOD the next day. Tuesday it was rowing and today it was Wall Balls (Hero WOD Holleyman, 30 rounds of 5 Wall Balls, 3 HSPU and 1 Power Clean, done as a You Go I Go Partner WOD (thankfully)). While I certainly appreciate the timely advice, there will now start to be a small sense of dread when I watch you guys do something spectacular in a video and then worry my Box is going to want me to do that too!
I’m a new subscriber. I love your videos! I’m trying to build muscle and get a little bigger. I have such a high metabolism and it’s hard for me to gain weight but you are such an inspiration! Thank you!
Great job by both of you guys on this AWESOME workout. That workout looked tough. You guys had AWESOME breathing during the workout. Thank you for sharing the tips on breathing while doing Wall-Balls. Is that the kind of breathing I need to be doing in my training for the next Open that starts in Feb.? Should I be working on everything regardless if it comes up in the next CrossFit Open?
great vid the breathing cycle very helpful in recovery and not losing stamina in a long routine. never but never hold your breath in any lift or it really throws u for a loop in a workout i know personally. have fun
Hi guys :) Can i ask why are you cleaning with finger tips? I'm kinda new to crossfit and working my mobility to have a good front rack with fingers closed but i see a lot of athletes (which i don't doubt have mobility) having hands open. But sometimes during workout with multiple cleans my wrists can hurt at the end if i'm forcing to close the hand.. maybe thats the reason? Thank you :)
Today we did 3-6-9-12-15-12-9-6-3 with clean and jerk and row calories. Sucked pretty bad because I for some reason can not get a good form on the clean or snatch. Bench is over 300, squat over 300, and deadlift over 400, but can only clean an ugly 185 lol. But only 2.5 months back into crossfit so plenty of time to improve

ya! a great way to narrow down what might get programed in the open is things that pretty much everybody has access to in there gym!
