- Is Steve and Janet the most cursed Impostor duo? Or will they manage to find redemption for their terrible 2024 thus far. I feel like they both had their ups and downs in this game. I mean Janet really did struggle - thinking she had an executioner on her when she was an Impostor. That's not possible - the Executioner's target is always a crewmate (and if you want to be super nerdy, certain crew roles can't be an exe target such as Vigi, Mayor etc).

There are few crew roles that can railroad an imposter's game quite like the transporter. I'm surprised they haven't made a rule yet about at least alternating targets
I think Investigator is another one. Hard counters the Morphling or Glitch, and is pretty unfun to play against imo. You get punished for using your ability since your footsteps are always your true colour
@@AmongUsAcademy I think Investigator's ability should be a button they press and it only lasts for 10 seconds and after that they've got to wait for a cooldown before reusing it. Moreover, morphed players footprints really should be the morphed player's colour and invisible players should have grey footprints. You might be able to catch someone's footprints changing colour but lets face it: if you used your ability you probably killed so the body you left behind is already a dead giveaway.

I feel Steve’s pain. Between Aipha’s teleports, mad amounts of grouping, and DumbDog always tunneling Steve, there was no hope starting in the second round.
Seems like DD could learn a thing or two from Junkyard about keeping a killer alive as a neutral.

Dumbdog pushing Janet out was really dumb. Not only does he have to infect more crewmates before he becomes plaguebearer, he also has to then kill more crewmates once he is plaguebearer.
I 100% agree that it is in both the imposter and neutral killers best interest to keep each other alive to reduce the number of kills they need to get.
@@danj7858 I mean, whether you like them or not, everyone brings something to the lobby. I think all the tryhard players enter a "less is more" territory more often than not, but some enjoy DD's competitiveness, never ending complaints, his trolling as long as no one does it to him, and his forever need to showcase how "smart" he is, lol.

Just wanted to say dumb dog is my favorite. Him acting emotional sometimes could come accross as annoying but it reminds us that all these guys are like us. To be honest the only thing i didnt like was pushing for a task win with 15 people. We all know that not only would hafu not be done like that but if it was anyone else, hafu would have said to hold the task. Pushing out imposter as pesty is a play to clear yourself. He didnt push out steve until steve outed himself which is also a smart play i think got overlooked. This video was only 25 min with 14 people and different povs which should be enough evidence it was no way long enough to push for a task win unless you really didnt want to see dumb dog cook as a ghost
12:02 I think 5up got Snitch 3 times this lobby, and he completed his tasks and survived to the meeting in every single game… except this one where Steve “The Best” Suptic bested him
5up finished tasks in the very beginning even while being transported so much 🤦♀️ just bad luck
Sometimes I really wish that Transporter wasn't such a chaos role. Almost nobody actually acts like a crewmate when they have it, they just pick their victims and go brrrrrrr.

@@AmongUsAcademy not even, it can be a massive detriment to the team, it cost 5up his snitch game, if it hadn't been for the task win it could've been very bad for the crew, its chaotic neutral.
@@MegaPhycoKiller If 5up had finished his last task, he would have been killed by Steve anyway, who was in office at the time. I agree it's a very chaotic role but I'd say it's good on average for the crewmates.

I actually feel bad for Steve and 5up here, the transporter is nothing but an annoyance making the player with it a giant troll and it needs to go it's funny but it's not fun to play with
Steve gets trolled a lot being transported, means imposter games can be impossible which isn't really fair
I have to agree, I think there should be a cap on the amount you can transport a person. That kinda stuff could be used to bully people in different lobbies
You can clearly tell that the lobby implements a house rule where you hyper-focus on your role...
Did Aipha push it by literally faking a task (right beside a real task he needed) waiting for cooldown? Maybe, but not much IMO
Steve could never get a safe kill this game with his location being known every 25 seconds. Maybe if he times it perfectly and used vents he could distance himself far enough away from the body but if he ever got a kill Aipha and 5up would likely know it was him.
There probably should be a house rule about spamming it on one person, but given the group really doesn’t care that much and that this lobby probably isn’t going to go on much longer I doubt they will.

There was an earlier game where everyone in chat was telling DD to do his tasks and he didn't do them so this is karma
Not sure if it's this mod or a different one, but I like the setting where the transporter has to do tasks to get transports, instead of being given all of them right off the bat. Would help prevent stuff like this game happening.
Wait is that an actual mod? I remember suggesting that EVERY crew role should only get their abilities by doing tasks, with more or less tasks depending on strength. For example, sheriff needs 3 tasks per bullet (to prevent insta-sheriffs right off the bat). Weaker roles like detective only need 1 task per scan, etc. That's so cool that someone made that.

I just dk why dumbdog is pushing out killers with like 1000 people left in the game especially as plaguebearer. Like at least wait til u infect the whole lobby. I’d really like to know his thought process. And then he’s complaining about how there was no time, like DUH u got out an imposter so early and Steve couldn’t kill so crew is just finishing their tasks.
And with the transporter thing, that’s like, to quote dumbdog, “game ruining” like how is Steve supposed to ever get a kill and how is 5up supposed to ever finish tasks, and Ik aipha would be complaining about it if someone did that to him. And Ik it’s just a game but that’s just what I think
Now there are more people in the lobby, I think a good new impostor role would be something like a saboteur, where an impostor can sabotage a task that will automatically kill the next person to really do that task.
This is why DK is necessary.

I love a little trolling, but that was just annoying. Aipha should've stopped after the first round or something, lol. Poor Steve was put into an impossible situation, and DD screwed himself and Janet over. :'(
right! i’d do it until they said something at the first meeting then i would do it once more & stop.. especially because of what each of their roles too it’s not like they were just like tracker & medic or something. one was snitch who needs to do all their tasks and one’s a killer lol

Is there a lore reason why they don’t play airship anymore? It just makes sense with a lobby this size
I think the problem is the idea “map is good for a lobby this size” is that the lobby doesn’t stay that size for the whole game. 14 goes down to 6 people pretty quick.
What they need is a map that “shrinks” with each round would be nice. Imagine in earlier rounds you can do “bonus tasks” with areas that get lost after X amount of meetings
i think they need to add a gentlemens rule against targeted transporting, it helps noone and causes unfun games, much more fun when the transporter is picking at random each time
This was rough. It really shows how much targeted transporting can screw over certain roles. Obviously killers and snitch, but also for the plaguebarer. Since that role’s balanced around having a certain number of “spreader” crew roles, having one of those roles target people who can’t spread really slows the game.

Dumbdog's logic on Janet during 1st meeting doesn't make sense.
Why wouldn't she had already done the common task when she was in office during 1st round with 5up? The round took like a whole minute to end and several people were 4/10 already. He understands a lot of game mechanics, but his "tells" are almost always wong lol
I think the real reason he knew is because she got infected by killing an infected person

Really disliking all this DD hate. Him outing Janet wasn't truly awful as he wasn't pesty yet and was at risk of dying to someone he knew could kill him. Not only that, but he could have also been accused for her kill and ended up being voted out. It was also fairly possible that she would have gotten the most sus and been voted out without him pushing her so hard. Ultimately though, there was only 3 dead with so little tasks left that even if Janet had stayed in the game, it was likely crew was going to win still, or Janet and the other imposter (Steve) could have won. The game just wasn't in his favor and it's kinda crazy how people are failing to see that and are just hating on him. Aipha also doesn't deserve any hate. No one deserves to be hated over how this game went. Very immature of everyone participating in this behavior.

I've been saying that all the crew roles should be dependent on the amount of tasks they do. You do 2 tasks you get 2 swaps as transporter for example

There are 3 reasons why a task win was possible:
1) DK not in the game
2) Steve imposter
3) Junk amnesiac
