The high singing in the chorus is interesting, it gives the song a nice flavour to it when played live. Matt also did really high vocals for The Revanchist on their deep cuts stream, and it sounded AMAZING.
True, i actually always get caught off guard by how good of a singer Matt is nowadays, even if he's Holding back somewhat with his live technique

They dont need to switch because matt sounds any worse, but from the songs perspective, the lower vocal melody was the main one in the studio version so it feels weird for the higher one to be louder and up front

I've seen Paolo sing high whilst Matt sings low. To see how much Matt has progressed with his vocal range is definitely inspiring to me

I don’t for him, but sometimes singing low and pushing the vocal chords to have more projection during live shows can damage your voice more than singing on a higher pitch (because you cannot hear a lower voice as clearly as a higher pitched one)
The chorus singed with two vocal harmonies actually. One of them is ordinary vocals of him and the other one is high notes. In live shows Matt singed ordinary vocals and Paolo singed high notes but currently they have changed it vice versa. I don't know why but it still sounds cool.

While we understand that this is their own song and they can do whatever the hell they want with it, however, I can't help but notice that the chorus sounds so weird. High vocals in the choruses do not fit the song.
