Hi Dottz, I recently found out about ESO and was looking forward to get into it but like you've said, broad flexibility(any race/class can do anything) of the game and its depth made me kinda scared. Wouldn't like to make a big mistake on my first character and choose the right race-class for me. First, I found about your main complete in-depth beginner guide, then, through your channel, I found this and the extended tutorial video. Man...Sincerely thank you for making these videos. There are so many bad videos out there, you have no idea. Most of them either lack information or are filled with stupid jokes/trolling all over, which makes it impossible to focus on the information or understand what's important. That's why loved your guides, which are in-depth, analytic, joke/trolling-free. objective, technical and experience-based. Solid advice. I'm sure there are many other noobs like myself out there that learnt a lot from your videos. Just wanted to write and let you know about it. Really appreciate it, liked and subscribed. @@salatwurzel-4388 yea was my favorite thing to steal in skyrim when i was a kajeit(sorry spelling is bad) and when i first played eso online the other day as a kajiet i was happy to find it still there:) tho i found that since its a mmorpg and kinda fast pace stealth was useless and i couldn't take my time and they kept running away gaining the health back every time i was hidden:(
@@hdslay133 well in the delves you kill your way , say through a room, then wait to gather your stamina back, and all of a sudden the enemies you just killed start spawning behind you, talk about repetition, watch out for that lol.😁

@ 12:00 when you mention the main crafter stuff - After you finish all your research you can recliam the skill points spent in reducing research times as you will no longer need them for research.

Been struggling on what kind of build I want for my Argonian DragonKnight. I keep flip flop in between a stamina dps and a tank and I'm tired of wasting gold on resetting my skills.
Lol. My first ever eso character is broken. As in, I broke my character and he will never be as powerful as he could have been. I've had him since eso console release. He is a nightblade, but being a noob, I could never decide what skills were more compatible with nightblade, or how I wanted to play. So as a result, I ended up maxing pretty much every skill tree in the game. I've since narrowed down my skills to a particular skill set and my nightblade build is pretty good. But even still I cant help but feel like a jack of all trades by having every single skill tree maxed out, including both vampire and werewolf lol. I guess my first character is important in the sense that he provides me the foundation of knowledge that I need in the skills of the game to make way better characters later on for the same class or different classes. 🙃
Damn why it takes so long for you guys to download games? My internet is by no means the fastes but i picked up an ethernet cord for like 20 bucks at walmart and i downloaded the ESO collection edition in about 9 hours. Keep in mind that i do play on console so that might have something to do with it.

I haven't owned ESO for long, I just decided to come back into Elder Scrolls gaming after a 2 year Destiny run that was never fully enjoyable. I've been into ES Ever since week 2 of original Morrowind release. Until I found you I didn't think ANYBODY split their attributes into the unfocused type that I had desired. I'm currently pursuing a DunmerDK with an even 32/32 split between Mag/Stam. So far I'm level 17 and really enjoying the versatility

Lol!, vampire is pretty strong as stam DPS *PvP* build! Check out the Eclusive Mist +Ultis combos from every CLASS has one=30%(major ward) +75%(mist)=105% Less over All dmg! BIGGEST Eso on paper mitigation, and just who sucks, have to be carful by fire dmg^^. learn avoid/ifnot stack both Resis in ele Defender(75cp) AND SpellShield(+5k) use DK scales/a.k.a shimmy shield or... ..Every class Has a hyper Ulti, warden even + 8% on the top. IF cap resis by 36k.5 PLUS an other 50% in General. Rad video like it! Keep it up.👌😎
Breton would make a better tank because of their resistance. Orcs don't really have any resistance perks, however, Breton has spell resistance and magika perks for sustain and magika skills

Oh shit, I learned that I didn't make a permanent final decision for the fighters guild when I chose it and can also go for mages and the way those level.. Wow, I should've watched this video earlier. Though not too much earlier, since if I didn't play the game for about a week yet, I would've been way overwhelmed with information. Edit: also didn't realize that I should have one of every class skill line slotted to level that skill line. Also: good to know, that there'll be enough skill points so that I can do all that crafting as I go along.
Ok. I generally avoid guides like this largely due to my personal opinion is that learning through playing is 75% of the fun of an MMORPG. I hate having to do the internet research and it becoming key to progress. I will say you got my thumbs up on your answer to "which is best class". I been playing MMO's for years and I get so sick of these types. Play the damn game! Don't look for easy button, don't look for speed runs, don't try to rush to "end content" , just play and enjoy the damn game!. So to hear you recommend to new players to find what appeals to them- Thank you!!!!!

Literally hopped into the game yesterday for the first time since launch. I felt so confused. Thank you so much. Decided to do a Stamina Templar for my first character. This is my first mmo sinice I stopped wow 6 years ago... I felt so overwhelmed, but I now feel excited
Last week i broke the gear level cap of 160cp, (now i'm 195cp) and i got dissed in a random NORMAL dungeon by some elitist 810cp for doing only 3.7k dps. See i was just questing, and dailies and didn't really care. But the prideful nature in me took hold of his insults and whinging and i did something about it. After various guides, forums and talking to other players, i spent about 30k gold at guild vendors piecing together a 3 set's of gear, 2 full sets and of course a helm & shoulder 2 piece as is the current fashion of endgame builds. Now i'm doing about 40k dps. I don't hear anyone complain anymore. But if anyone want's to know what you need as a dps, essentially regardless if you are stamina or magika based, you need Physical/Magical penetration + Critical % + physical/magical damage + Stamina/Magika regen. That about sums up the main necessity. As for build advice, i strongly recommend you google Alcast. His guides are essentially the always updated to recent patch notes versions of the META builds for each class for each spec, including vampire and warewolf builds. But you can always basically freelance for anything before trials, never know where you might find one skill working better for you then the metas.

Telling people to quest and adventure/unlock watshrines is a good thing for new people you mentioned. I remember power leveling my second character and hating the fact I couldn't get around the world like I wanted because I didn't really adventure and quest on the second toon and just power leveled
Going to make a Dunmer Hybrid stam/mag Nightblade because of this guide and just enjoy myself through all the content, focusing on Soulharbor storyline first, Thanks Dottz~ (instant sub and like)
i played the game for 35h but i didnt understand it at all. just running around doing quests. Got lost on maps.....didnt really understand crafting, dungeons or anything. And since i was used to one kind of mmo i just couldnt enjoy it. Now with this guide i finally understand some stuff. I played some other mmo's and i think this time around i will enjoy my time on eso a lot more. Thnx for the guide :D

You can very easily respec those points by going to a re-dedication shrine!
We all have that one toon, usually our first, who is USELESS at everything but crafting and hording.

Literally hopped into the game yesterday for the first time since launch. I felt so confused. Thank you so much. Decided to do a Stamina Templar for my first character. This is my first mmo sinice I stopped wow 6 years ago... I felt so overwhelmed, but I now feel excited
Also, going for stealth stam templar Khajit. Just seemed like a lot of fun to me. I think that it'll be viable

Last week i broke the gear level cap of 160cp, (now i'm 195cp) and i got dissed in a random NORMAL dungeon by some elitist 810cp for doing only 3.7k dps. See i was just questing, and dailies and didn't really care. But the prideful nature in me took hold of his insults and whinging and i did something about it. After various guides, forums and talking to other players, i spent about 30k gold at guild vendors piecing together a 3 set's of gear, 2 full sets and of course a helm & shoulder 2 piece as is the current fashion of endgame builds. Now i'm doing about 40k dps. I don't hear anyone complain anymore. But if anyone want's to know what you need as a dps, essentially regardless if you are stamina or magika based, you need Physical/Magical penetration + Critical % + physical/magical damage + Stamina/Magika regen. That about sums up the main necessity. As for build advice, i strongly recommend you google Alcast. His guides are essentially the always updated to recent patch notes versions of the META builds for each class for each spec, including vampire and warewolf builds. But you can always basically freelance for anything before trials, never know where you might find one skill working better for you then the metas.
Lmao even with my cp 100 gear I do 10k dps on average you should learn weaving/animation canceling and use meta skills

stopped playing ESO for destiny 2 now am thinking of returning. D2 is nowhere near as expansive or challenging as ESO. plus I miss my DK and sorcerer.

i kinda hate how a lot of mmos incorporated the DKs after WoW, every time i see DarkKnight, Dragonknight, just reminds me wow DKs.

Thank for this great video. I completely missed out on leveling Light and Medium armor on my DK. Knight automatically made me think Heavy armor only. This vid is very helpful.

Telling people to quest and adventure/unlock watshrines is a good thing for new people you mentioned. I remember power leveling my second character and hating the fact I couldn't get around the world like I wanted because I didn't really adventure and quest on the second toon and just power leveled

i played the game for 35h but i didnt understand it at all. just running around doing quests. Got lost on maps.....didnt really understand crafting, dungeons or anything. And since i was used to one kind of mmo i just couldnt enjoy it. Now with this guide i finally understand some stuff. I played some other mmo's and i think this time around i will enjoy my time on eso a lot more. Thnx for the guide :D
