I picked this up a couple years ago, I think. Tons of fun. Some really neat builds (like the ones that let you make your own drones/constructs are very viable). Updates have been great over time. Enjoy this one. As for controls, I just used a mouse and found it very comfortable.
this game is all about ship upgrade synergies. dont forget to collect xp before it despawns. look at all your options and the upgrade tree on the right before choosing from your pool. there should be a guide in game as well on the title.
@DrIncompetent the fun part is exploration of different combinations of gear and mods to go for different builds. like a drone or shield build. you also have what i like to call radical mods which do things like get rid of your shield entirely for hull strength which synergizes well with overclocking your weapon at the expense of hull damage. you just have to use it wisely and get used to it. there are alot of unlocks too that change the game entirely. this is just the beginning. i recommend not enabling other modes until you get comfy with the core game from start to end. then you can go wild
One of my favorite games. The upgrade interactions can get really absurd once you unlock a bunch of them.
That is my favorite aspect of survivor games: breaking them with upgrade combos haha
Yay.
Wow, playing this with a controller looks tough
It's great! Mouse and keyboard might be better haha
