  • Karin Slaughter launches her new book "The Good Daughter" at the 2017 Library of Congress National Book Festival in Washington, D.C.
    Speaker Biography: Karin Slaughter is a crime writer whose 17 novels have sold more than 35 million copies in 37 languages. Her novels include the Grant County and Will Trent books, as well as the Edgar-nominated "Cop Town," which are all under development for film or television. She founded the Save the Libraries project, an organization that raises money for the DeKalb County (Georgia) Library Foundation. Her most recent novel, "The Good Daughter," is a standalone thriller.
