- If you want to generate a reliable income from your savings, then corporate bonds could be the answer.
In this video, Ed Bowsher looks at how they work, how risky they are, and whether or not they’re a good investment for most people.
I've heard the words "tesco bond" in these types of videos so much that I've begun to think that it's an actual type of financial instrument so deeply ingrained into Britain's financial system, and that Tesco has an omnipotent hold on the whole of the UK economy
As a UK citizen, I can confirm that the Tesco regime is oppressive and cruel.
Really helpful, I am taking my CeMap exams at the moment and this really helped clear up the difference between bonds and gilts. More videos like this please!

It's not the same without Tim
You said its cons include expensive but you said earlier that we can sell it so in this case this con won't affect us. Am i right?
No because if it’s expensive. Meaning it might be overvalued based on where interest rates might be going in the future. Ie. if interest rates go up, then the value of a 5.5% bond goes down. So yes you can always sell it, but if you buy it expensive, likely that you might sell it at a loss
Danke schoen
I hate Tesco, the cheese is bad!
Buy bitcoin.
it wil fall tomorrow
Husnu Coban it goes up on average 0.47% a day over the last 9 years.
Lucifer Morningstar investing in a technology isn't a bad bet in my book . Especially one that governments cant confiscate.
