    Been doing different types of fasting.
    Been researching and I came across your UA-cam I like to get the most information I can.
    Ive have been doing one meal a day or three meals a day and 24-hour fasting.
    Having trouble going past 30 hours but I was trying to challenge myself it's difficult when I'm making my husband mushrooms sweet potato and salmon for dinner it is so good especially after fasting for 30 hours

    Hi Autumn, can you share your insights about IF in relation to leaky gut and chronic inflammatory conditions, like psoriasis. Many of the illnesses nowadays seem to have a connection with chronic inflammations, even in the brain (neuro inflammation).
    I realize this is a big topic, but maybe you can spend some time on it in one of your next videos.

    Hi, Sorry if you've already answered this somewhere... I can't have dairy (even gee because it begins with cow milk) and I don't eat pork or beef. I used to eat a ton of salmon, but ever since having my son, I don't eat a ton of fish because the smell is so overwleming to me (even after 4 years). For Keto coffee can I use a vegan butter, or should I just stick to coconut oil? I've been intermitting fasting for 3 weeks and find that I just havn't been getting in enough fat or protein. I tend to eat more of a vegan diet and throw in chicken and eggs where I can. Do you recommend that I do a protein suppliment? I usually hate how they taste, but can try again to be sucessful with IMF.

      Hi Liliya! You might want to consider 1. when you're doing activity within the day and timing it around then 2. bearing in mind that you're more insulin sensitive (so it will help move the sugar out of your bloodstream into the cells for fuel), earlier on in the day 3. pairing your fruit with a fat/protein source xxxx

      Is it better to eat a fruit right after lunch or is it better to wait about 30 minutes? I heard various opinions on that. For example, I would break my fast with a hard boiled egg, then a few minutes after I would have a turkey sandwich on a whole grain bread with avocado (that's my lunch). Can I have a fruit right after that as a dessert, basically combining it with protein and fat I just had for lunch or is it better to wait? I heard that you are not supposed to combine fruit with other foods (?) If I wait for 30 minutes or so, wouldn't that fruit count as a snack which goes against intermittent fasting regime?

      @@liliya6781 pleasure! So I would say in scientific terms, you are doing it “perfectly” - you are using the tools of food sequencing and food combining. You have the protein and fat as you say before which will slow down the absorption of the fruit after. I guess two points, if you wanted to reduce your blood sugar more, then having the fruit mixed with yoghurt/nuts etc (even if small amount) would do so. In terms of waiting 30 mins, no you wouldn’t need to do this! Just eating your whole lunch at a rate that is healthy and not rushed would be advisable! Xx to add you are having source of sugar with the bread too xx

      If you are on a 16 hour intermittent fast, then you have an 8 hour eating window based on a 24 hour day. For one meal a day, OMAD, I count the eating window as one hour. It may be that your are done eating in a half hour but there is the idea of an eating window on OMAD.

    Autumn, I am so grateful I found you!!! FINALLY someone in the field that covers it all and in my opinion, you are 100% accurate with everything. As if I I already did not know you know your S%%^, what you mention about MCT… omg these are my feelings as well. I tried it once or twice back in the day, and my sensitive body did NOT like it. It made me verryyy jumpy and it just did not feel right. So I agree with your assessment. Love you girl , keep up the amazing work, I send everyone your way when they ask about my fasting journey.

    I have been doing intermitent fasting 18/6 for 9 days and yesterday I was 8 pounds down!! So happy.
    My eating hours are from 1-7pm.
    -1pm 1 tb spoon of apple cider vinegar diluted in water.
    -1:15pm My berries almond shake (your recipe)
    -2:30pm chicken or 2 hard boiled eggs with avocado, broccoli or spinach and queso fresco or a mozzarella string cheese.
    -5pm On my way home I like to chew
    gums 🤭
    6:30pm my last meal could be same eggs, chicken or tuna with a portion of vegetables OR a protein shake.
    After that I drink water only till 10pm when go to bed.
    In the morning wake up and drink water, warm lemon water and black coffee till 1pm.

      gum and coffee have minimal (if any) calories it is often considered acceptable to consume either of these in conjunction with water during your fast.

      Marilyn, an eating schedule in itself is "good" and is the biggest tool to meeting any wellness goal. How do you currently eat:? I'd suggest planning some times and sitting down to eat at that time! it's super successful x

      I'm not amber, but I've been researching a ton on this and those ingredients should be fine according to what im understanding. They aren't going to give the tea any fat or protien. Flax tea wouldn't work for example. Adding protien or collagen wouldn't work etc.
      It sounds good and you would still be in a true fast as far as I can see.

      Hi Brittney, sounds like you're doing a great job! I'd just say to remember that there really aren't any "right" foods. If you go with what Autumn suggests, I'd totally agree - going for mainly whole foods and focusing on including fat, protein and fibre at every meal. It will totally depend on your wellness goals and health status and activity as to what foods are most beneficial for you xxx

    Watching this while eating my pumpkin chili. Day 1 - I’m so impressed with the recipes. Very yummy. This is my new favorite pumpkin chili. My long term goals are to lose 10 lbs and tone up. I definitely felt the leg workout so, I’m off to a good start. Thank you Autumn.

    Since June 2 which is as of today 118 of not a single gram of sugar along with IMF I've lost 25 lbs IMF for me the average is between 18 and 24 hours of no food ... Change your attitudes changes your mind, changes into a better everything you !!

      Creamer like “Cremona” yes because it usually has HFCS or other sugars (read the ingredient label), but I put 1 Tablespoon of heavy cream in my coffee & it doesn’t.

    Hi- i’m new to IF and trying to get up to speed as much as possible. You mentioned that having any type of fat doesn’t break the fast for those who are following the mimicking method, does that also include raw nuts like walnuts, almonds, peanuts etc. Lastly, instead of using heavy cream etc. can we instead use non dairy products like oat milk or almond milk?

    I was just wondering.. if i pause intermitted fasting for one week for Christmas is ot hard to get back info it? I can't Follow any eating Windows sins im celebrating at my families and staying there for å while.. so now i am having sooo many doubhts and scared i will gain allot of weight.     Hi Autumn! Thanks for all your great content. I wanted to give you a topic I’d love to see you cover on a video. May be too science-y for some! 😆 But I’d love a deep dive into insulin resistance vs insulin sensitivity. What does it mean, why does it matter, how does IF (or anything else) impact it, help or hurt it, etc. I noticed you use the terms a lot and I think I know what it means but sometimes I forget if I want to be resistant or sensitive! 😬 Thanks so much!     Should I still IF and eat one to two times per day between 10am-4pm? I weigh 185 and trying to lose 20 pounds on keto and strength train and enjoy cardio daily for 1-3 hours daily. The pounds aren’t coming off!

      Hi Cas! In order to lose weight, your have to achieve being in a negative energy balance. 1. Whether you eat once/twice will not make a difference UNLESS you find it easier to eat less calories with only having one meal - however, it may not be sustainable and also potentially not advisable for you with wanting to train so much (love this) 2. Be aware of not putting yourself under too much stress (e.g. too big a calorie deficit, too much cardio etc) as this may hinder your weight loss 3. The pounds WILL come off IF you are an energy deficit consistently and complementing it with eating types of food and following a schedule, that helps to optimise your hormone levels, whilst nourishing you!

      Just eat less. Replace some of your carbs with veggies or more protein. You can even have a keto coffee later in the day to stave off hunger.

    New here just watching replay. I’m familiar with fasting and I have used a supported fast system with a nutritional protein product company. I found your channel with the walking to weight loss video. I’m a weirdo and a carb addict. I don’t get enough protein and have a dislike for most meats. Looking forward to more info and your videos.
