  • Sabara Sabarani is a traditional dance form of Danda Nacha or Danda Nrutya or Danda Jatra in Odisha. The Sabara people are an indigenous tribal group mainly found in the Indian state of Odisha. They belong to the Austroasiatic language family and speak the Sora language, which is also known as "Sabara" or "Savara."
The Sabaras have a rich cultural heritage, which is evident in their traditional dance forms, such as the "Sabara Sabarani Danda Nacha". They have a deep connection with nature and depend on the surrounding forests for their livelihood. They practice agriculture, hunting, fishing, and gathering forest produce. Enjoy the Sambalpuri danda nacha.
