Thanks for this, I haven't been to the WCofD since my childhood in 1974. I remember doing a layered, colored sand art bottle in a gift shop as a souvenir. Of course, the layers disappeared while being shaken about in my suitcase during the flight home, LOL!

Really nice walk with interesting history. Best way to get exercise in when it doesn’t really feel like exercise the entire time. Is that your guitar music? The England Coast Path sounds beautiful, perhaps a similar idea to our Trans Canada Trail that goes across the country, through a variety of landscapes urban and rural.

That walk is interesting any time of the year but especially on real warm summer days with the sea breeze drifting in! BTW, not my music - just some copyright-free sound I found in the YT audio library. Kinda my style though which is why I chose it 👍

Enjoyed the video of your walk along the cliff top to South Foreland lighthouse. I've done short walks around there and stayed well clear of the cliff edge paths (not got a head for heights or drops 🙂). Sidenote, I live close to North Foreland LH which overlooks Joss Bay 😀

I've only walked around the perimeter of NFLH once. Is it open to the public or is it a functioning lighthouse?

@@Tudor_Travels Not known it to be open to the public since moving down here in 2010. However, the two former lighthouse keepers' cottages are self catering holiday lets.
