Saul Leiter Exhibition

This was an exhibition of photos by Saul Leiter, a pioneer of both color and street photography. He made his name as a fashion photographer in the 1940s and 50s, but did painting and color street photography on the side at a time when only black and white was considered "art". The exhibition was held at Bunkamura Hikarie in Shibuya which did a wonderful job of presenting his work.

Thank you for this video.
I love the work of Saul Leiter. It was so exciting to see images never seen by me. Of late, I’ve tried to create image a la Saul. Saul Leiter and Ernst Haas. My two most recent photography book purchases.
Wish I could have experienced this new exhibition.
