Android has a number of "boot modes" built into it. You may know of a couple such as Recovery Mode and Safe Mode. Each one of them is designed to help you accomplish a specific task and that is no different here.

Most of us are actively trying to boot into this special boot mode when we see the little Russian Mi doll. But I do realize that sometimes it happens by accident. So I'll show you how to exit this Redmi 4 Fastboot Mode screen as well.
It requires a button combination that we need to press while the phone is booting up. So let's power off the smartphone by bringing up the Power Menu and shutting it down. Give it a few seconds after the screen has turned black to be sure it's actually off.
When ready, go ahead and press the button combo as demonstrated in the video.
Continue holding these two buttons down until you see the little Xiaomi Mi mascot tinkering with a green Android toy. The letters "Fastboot" will be right under it to let you know this is different than MIUI.
After booting the Xiaomi Redmi 4 to Fastboot Mode you can then begin issuing commands using your previously installed ADB & Fastboot tools. You may also be instructed to boot into Fastboot Mode when using programs such as Xiaomi's Mi PC Suite or when using the Fastboot.exe tool.
Once you're done, we can exit Fastboot Mode by pressing and holding the Power button for 7-10 seconds. This will cut power to the Redmi 4 and force it to restart immediately. As long as you don't have anything wrong with the Android filesystem, then it will boot into MIUI like normal.
However, if you notice the phone is just booting back into Fastboot Mode over and over then you likely have something wrong with the OS and will need to do a factory data reset from Recovery Mode.
