    I've been searching for the yeast recipe for years now. I'm going to give it a try. I love the little round bun from national, and this will definitely make me feel more at home. I need to get the ingredients..but I will definitely try. Are there any substitutes for the Guiness /Malta and molasses?

    Why yeast and baking powder. ???

  • @effeo9962
    @effeo9962 8 місяців тому +3

    60 Celsius kills yeast, so I am wondering if the stout shouldn't have been left at room temperature, and only melting the butter. Perhaps that's why proofing was long...🤷‍♂️

    • @dreddiknight
      @dreddiknight 7 місяців тому

      She didn't heat the yeast though, unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying?

      @@dreddiknightshe DID put the yeast in warm water with something else ,i dont remember what else and then set aside in a small dish b4 she start combining the dry ingredients,i hope you saw it by now !!😅
