@@abrokgamerbg Oh yeah... Don't even get me started on all the people trying to sell it for plat -.- On Switch I've heard it's a bit different because no clan has access to it for free but maybe crossplay will change this ^^
Dont sell youre stuff before leveling it to max level Sometime you will regret it because you maybe wanna be mr 9 as soon as possible to get the ignis wraith
@@MHBlacky_ENG currently the only way to get is to farm a specific railjack mission... which is kinda late game but also hella amazing way to get credits and carbites (not to mention ignis wraith blueprints is so so freaking rare I think I might actually suffer a brain hemorage from hearing cephalon Cy warm me about enemies incoming for the 1 069 720'th time.
General advice for weapon modding: 1: Play to your weapons strength. Since mods provide multiplicative percentage-based increases, it is always better to increase what is already high. Say, for instance, that you have a rifle with 20% critical hit chance and 5% status chance. If you throw on a maxed Point Strike mod, it will increase those 20% chance by 150% or in other words: Multiply it by 2.5. This would leave you with a 50% crit chance which is not at all bad. If instead you chose a mod that increased status chance by 150%, you would only end up with 12.5% status chance, which is not great. Therefore, it's best to increase a weapons high values because you are getting a greater total bonus. Another thing to keep in mind is types of flat damage increase. There's four different types that will increase your base damage and they work differently: 1: General damage increase. Found on mods such as Serration or Pressure Point. Simply increases all your damage by a specified amount. Pretty much always good. 2: Elemental Damage. Found on a variety of mods. Directly adds elemental damage based on the base damage of the weapon. Different elements exceed against different enemies and can inflict different status effects. 3: Physical damage increase. These mods focus on the physical damage types (impact, puncture and slash) and unlike elemental mods, they cannot introduce new damage types to a weapon. Two things to know about these: One, they do not work if a weapon doesn't have the corresponding damage type. For instance, the Ignis Flamethrower deals pure fire damage and has no impact, puncture or slash that could be increased. Second: These mods should not be considered a damage option. You'll always get high damage increases from other mods. Instead, they are used to change the damage weighting of a weapon to affect the likelyhood of certain status effects. Sounds confusing, but long story short, don't bother with them early on. 4: Faction Damage: These mods do not increase the base statistics of a weapon but instead add a damage multiplier against enemies based om their faction. For instance, Bane of Grineer increases the damage dealt against all Grineer enemies (those armoured soldiers you know from the tutorial). These mods become very important later on when you need to optimize your damage against high level enemies. They are good, but you need to remember to swap them out depending on your mission. There's also a handful of enemies with no corresponding faction damage mod, though you won't see them early on. Important to note is that in order to be as efficient as possible, you wanna stack these mod types, as that is more efficient than only increasing damage through a single type. Completely unrelated note: You get a flawed "flow" mod during the tutorial. Most flawed mods are just downgrades, but the flawed Flow is actually more efficient in terms of capacity drain than the regular one, so I'd suggest you hold onto it until you have the means to more easily optimize your builds.
For your tip 1, it's worth noting there's a "Complete Starter Slot Bundle" in the marketplace that gives 2x Warframe Slot, 2x Weapon Slot, and 2x Companion Slot for 45 Plat, so you get an extra warframe slot and 2 companion slots for 1 more plat than buying 2x weapon and 1x warframe as suggested.
Thank you for the helpful tip! :D I'm super sad that this bundle came out after this video. Since then I've been recommending it to everyone aswell. It's crazy high value for starters. Hope a lot of people read your comment ;) Sad that YT got rid of the colorful text boxes. Otherwhise I'd definitely put one up :D
Pretty good video. My biggest tip that you haven't already covered is this: KEEP MOVING. Your survival improves dramatically by just staying on the move. Learn to aim while moving in the air or sliding on the ground. Cast your powers in the air whenever possible so they don't kill your momentum. Don't stay still for even a moment unless you're somehow protected, invisible or dead. Oh, and try to buy new Warframe slots instead of selling old warframes, especially the ones that are harder to farm. Trust me they'll come in handy eventually.
Thank you for adding this valuable tip, OniGanon :D Definitely moving is king. Not only for the reasons mentioned but also simply because the AI is coded to have less precision when aiming at a moving target ^^
Also rolling looks funky at the start and unpreffersble since it feels less controlled than other mechanics But it actually makes up for it in more situations than you'd think due to damage reduction and stagger/flinch immunity when you see something coming Yes you are locked in a roll animation momentarily but it's a lot more controll than being knocked over and taking full damage
also good to know for new players when they get to the second dream quest and you get to the part where you need to fight the eye on lua when you completed that dont forget ot pickup your first lua puzzle mod cause i reckon many people just go to extraction when its done but that part you do from the quest is actually one of the puzzles you can solve on lua so dont forget to pickup the mod
For new players, I'd definitely recommend joining a good Dojo. A Dojo that has good facilities. New Tenno can cut out a lot of hours of confusion and grinding when they can go to a Dojo to get blue prints for various weapons, armor and items. Dojos are also used to trade and train in many cases. Saves a lot of time and grants some key items you will need at one point or another. Also, do relic runs. Yes, the grind can be a hassle but to save time, do capture missions or low level Survival if you want to unlock a group of relics per mission. That way, you get Prime parts which you will need and for the Prime junk you don't want, sell them for Ducats which Baro Ki'Teer takes or sell them on Warframe Market for platinum.
Ask in recruit chat LF clan 100% research and you'll most likely get a couple msg ask them to link there dojo and look around the stats ETC make sure it's populated and join than you'll have access to clan chat and alliance chat after that build your clan key@@cardeccia
My tips: 1: Choose the Skana sword during Awakening. You can buy the MK1 bo outright for credits. However, the Skana will need to be built or bought with plat. And the resources to make it don't unlock until you get to Mars. This is a bit of a slog just to get something you could've had for free from the very first mission. Sure, it may not be an apex level weapon, but it is definitely better than the mk1 bo, and again, you can buy the mk1 bo and some other weapons outright for credits. 2: Get the Lex. It's considered to be one of the best of the starter-level weapons, and overall a solid secondary. Lex Prime is also a fairly easy farmable via fissures and relics. I picked one up early in-game, and it carried me to Jupiter just prior to the Eximus getting Overshield upgrade. It may be fairly slow-firing, but it is basically a pistil-sized sniper rifle. I've shot Dyrgn pilots out of their machines with it at extreme distance. This accuracy can also be handy for using it to rack up a few stealth kills from beyond the enemies' hearing/sight range. Stealth kills from guns boost the affinity you get from each kill, stacking up to 5 stacks, at which point, additional stacks refresh the bonus countdown. 3: Join a Clan. A good clan will help you out quite a bit. More experienced players can give you a lot of useful info, help you figure out your builds, help with farming credits and resources to build stuff, allow you to form a squad without needing to rely on random public squads (extremely useful for some nightwave challenges), and possibly even be willing to trade some of their "junk" items which might be better than your items, for something they can use. I once traded a mod that I had many copies of to a newer user in exchange for a Deimos fish that I needed the resources from. Plus, some clans have 0% trading tax, vs the 50% tax at Maroo's Bazaar. Some clans/alliances may also have their own Discord servers, which will further help with staying in contact and allow for things like sharing of screenshots or video links. 4: Somewhat at odds with the "rush the star system" suggestion. Take the time to farm up the resources, mods, etc, that more experienced players might suggest you use to help survive the star chart. Rushing through the star chart used to be a lot easier, and many longer-time users than myself sometimes overlook the fact that the star chart is legitimately harder than it used to be. The overshield upgrade to Eximus units outright stopped my progression, until I backtracked and worked on leveling up and obtaining better gear. 5: Farm seasonal events. Certain items that get very expensive to trade for can be obtained simply by farming the tokens use by events such as Dog Days or Naberus. Apart from the festive decorations, you can get some useful things like Arcanes, mods, and even weapons blueprints for some decent weapons. 6: Farm up the Simaris reputation to buy the Solar widget for the Synthesis scanner. After this is obtained, you only need to keep 1 scanner in inventory. This is going to save you a lot of credits and allow you to scan everything that's scannable. It is Infinite Ammo for the scanner. 7: Ammo mutation mods and battery weapons are your friend. Batter weapons are relatively under-powered compared to regular weapons, but regenerate ammo, allowing you to have infinite ammo. This is particularly useful as Wukong's clone no longer has infinite ammo, and some missions can result in incredible drains on your ammo if you don't have ammo mutation mods. In addition, some of these weapons like Basmu and Shedu have special effects when the battery is fully drained. 8: Read the tips and wiki, when it comes to warframes and abilities. Also, read the wiki for info on weapons. Sometimes warframes or weapons may have some interesting reactions with certain mods, or may be incompatible with certain mods that seem like they should be working on them. 9: Nataruk is NOT an AOE weapon. It is also NOT silent, despite being a bow. It does however fire energy arrows that have INFINITE Punch-Through against bodies and absolutely massive hitboxes. Some players jokingly say it fires logs or trees. You will want to add multishot (and perhaps Hush) to it. 10: Thunderbolt mod destroys the arrows when they explode. This means, that you will sacrifice punch-through or any special effects the bow states it has, in exchange for the arrow doing AOE damage. 11: Vastilok is the only silent gunblade. It is not 100% undetectable, as it uses silent ranged weapon mechanics. So, look those up on the wiki and apply to this gunblade to take the best advantage of this feature, any normally silent primary/secondary weapons, and the weapon silencing mods for rifles/shotguns/pistols. 13: Learn how to use Glaives effectively. These are some cool melee weapons, once you get used to how they work. Tapping Melee Attack (I use a custom controller setup, so I prefer to use command names, rather than keyboard/mouse/controller button names) allows for using them as normal melee weapons. Holding this down will charge up a throw. Holding this again at the right time just prior to catching it can allow you to chain throws. There is a mod which will give you more damage for each chained throw, and I personally find the animations quite cool. If you throw a glaive, you can cause it to emit an AOE energy explosion by pressing Heavy Attack/Alt Fire and immediatly return to you. You can also mod for additional or fewer bounces, as you see fit. Wolf's Sledge has the same mechanic, but is a hammer and thus uses hammer stance mods rather than glaive stance mods.
As a beginner reading this just made me wanna uninstall the game :,) Did not understand one single word and feel like it will take years and a lot of reading/ watching videos to understand...Which is understandable but also so difficult and time consuming...A bit sad about that.
@@lieutenantgeorge4412 the warframe wiki is your best friend. Legitimately one of if not the best fondom wiki for a game I have come across, although that might be because Warframe itself is so bad at explaining everything.
On battery weapons being underpowered, I raise Bubonico, Fulmin and Tenet Cycron, all three excellent and very powerful weapons, with Bubonico in particular being the weapon of choice for quite a few endurance runners. Otherwise great tips.
Thing i wish i knew before starting Warframe 1. Join fully established clan as soon as possible 2. To decorate/customize your orbiter it's hidden in equipment menu 3. Always play in public when cracking your relic 4. Take your time and the most importantly enjoy the game
12:18 I was really surprised by this, I was so lost when streamers were cautious about spoiling the story or something when I said I was a begginner and I was like "what story?" I'm filled with hope, thank you,
Haha yeah I know what you mean... You're thinking "Well nice a mindless horde-shooter where the only thing changing over time is the visuals of the planets" And then once you reach Uranus everything starts to unfold ^^ I find it to be a stupid decision to first start the story after 2/3 of the star chart is already completed but hey, that's how it is xD
@@MHBlacky_ENG No idea if DE ever talked about it, but I'd guess it might be that in the beginning, they didn't really have a story and just made it up as they went along. Considering the designs of the early frames, which tend to look like a latex suit with some stuff slapped on (yes, I mean you, Mag), I wouldn't be surprised if the inital idea was that Frames are basically Iron Man suits for the Tenno, if not even the Frames themselves being the Tenno. Might be wrong, though, since I can't remember how the original Awakening went back in '13.
If you want better reasons for Volt, based on what you've said, here you go. First, having those different options allows you to explore different playstyles, defensive, offensive, speed run, etc. Being able to cosplay Emperor Palpatine is a big plus as well. There is also the fact that if you do need Volt, being experienced in using him early on for the later game stuff can also be useful. Just thoughts from someone who hasn't actually made it to those late game missions
@@soutypitts frankly, I don't know, I don't play Warframe enough to know how to best play every frame, even my own. I say go with what you enjoy, as I mostly just mess around in the gamr
I think the reason behind the lore being locked to so later on is so that new players experience the game the good old way first, a cyborg ninja game with a sarcastic ship AI and a space mother who we all secretly have/had a crush on. You’re meant to power up and at the same time get attached to certain characters so when the story truly starts you are invested. Plus less story means new players get to focus on the gameplay and learning the mechanics first rather than having new mechanics shoved in your mouth before you finish chewing up the basics. I personally always loved that approach and it makes unlocking the new mechanics feel that much more special to the player rather than it simply being seen as a new toy. It gets personal value attached to it. I’m studying to become a game developer and I would say that explaining just the necessary makes it much easier to make and a lot easier to shape it to be what you want it to be, whilst retaining the core player experience. When something comes easy no one cares about it. Which is why some quests straight up lock you out of your gear to avoid you breezing through them. I started playing Warframe when Ivara came out(I believe The Second Dream wasn’t even in the game back then) and playing through it got me attached to the game for a couple of years after. I took a break 4 years ago and came back recently because of the lack of cross progression and now I have started over and the nostalgia of EVERYTHING hits so hard. Only complaint I have is the new enemy types that straight up ignore abilities for some reason and The Sands of Inaros seem to be outdated because I searched every Corpus planet for a Railgun Moa and not a SINGLE ONE had them. If anyone can help I’d appreciate it. But yeah going back, the approach is good to let players experience the world of Warframe before getting slingshotted into the hidden secrets behind the whole situation. That’s when you grow to appreciate everything you’ve experienced so far because you may have never took it as important before. Warframe is one of the few games I’d give a 9.8-10/10.
just stumbled over your channel because I was refreshing my knowledge on the early game. I am coaching one of my friends, so this helped a lot. Great production for a channel with only 60 subscribers.
-Btw if ur playing on console U CANT get any platinum discount Its a PC only thing (Crossplay is in development so maybe u can get a discount on console in the future but not yet) -Another thing u might wanna know If u wanna try a mastery rank test U can only train the one u have to do next or the ones u have already completed So if ur mastery one u cant do the test for mastery three -argon crystals (recourse) fade away after 24 hours (or if u have multiple they will divide by 2 i think) Btw i like ur umbra Even tho i myself would use a slightly 'darker' gold...but thats ur thing to decide
Howdy Hamster, I really hope for crossaccounting to help here. Maybe we'll get the best out of both worlds :D Thank you for tha addition with the MR test. That's right, you can only do the one coming up next and all previous ones ^^ Thank you for the compliment! I will forward it to my Umbra :P
That's a lie. I got platinum discounts on both the original Xbox and the original PS4 when logging in every day. Got them so often it made me mad because I had to choose between discount platinum or fresh $70-$120 controller joysticks to further enjoy the only 30 fps game on console that actually feels like a real 60 fps AAA title. How's that dancing meme go again?... "Mmm!!! Oh my god!!! Stop !@#$ing Lying!!!"
I noticed in your syndicate section you only have 3 syndicates maxed out instead of 4. Yes, there is 3 combinations to get 4 syndicates to max rank at the same time. This means you have access to more items (Syndicate weapons and mods.) to use and that others might want to buy for some plat income. Below is a very old copy paste (2018) with the full setup you could add to second follow up video. 1) Steel / Suda / Hexis / Veil Only run Steel / Suda missions, have a Steel Sigil equipped (well, also equip a Suda Sigil until you are Rank 1 with them, heh). Suda won't interfere with Steel and gives you +50% Hexis, the -50% Veil is made up by the +50% Veil from Steel and the Steel Sigil (no negative for Suda / Hexis) finally gets Veil into positive. 2) Veil / Loka / Perrin / Steel Only run Veil / Loka missions, have a Veil Sigil equipped. Works pretty much like the previous. FYI, this combination makes you miss out on Suda's unique Large Team Shield Restore (no big deal IMO, plus you can switch Syndicates to eventually get everything). 3) Perrin / Hexis / Loka / Suda Only run Perrin / Hexis missions, alternate between Perrin / Hexis Sigils. Perrin / Hexis are opposed but you still get a total of +50% for each and they don't interfere with Loka / Suda so it's +50% each there, as well. FYI, this combination makes you miss out on Veil's unique Large Team Ammo Restore (maybe somewhat of a big deal, dunno).
Thank you for taking the time to explain the variants in detail :D Tbh when I started with Syndicates I had no idea what I was doing and after some time I just stuck with the top three and traded for the items of the others :P
@@zzkullzz2377 Pledge to the main first faction and then run syndicate missions for main faction + second faction. Always was 2x main faction to 1x second faction.
@@zzkullzz2377 In your case, pledge to Steel but will do Steel syndicate missions as then Suda syndicate missions. Don't turn in the medallions (still a thing, right?) Hold on to those cause you want to always turn them in as a top off or course correction to maintain the balance.
When you mentioned selling mods for endo, you forgot the most important thing that saves time. Middle Mouse click (not sure what it is for console players) to select the ENTIRE stack with 1 click. This works just about any window that lets you select items that come in stacks. Example: When you get done fishing in cetus, can quickly sell all those Murkray for rep.
11:58 Because The Second Dream is all based on your investment as a player. Locking it behind anywhere from 70-1000 hours of play (what it took in the old days) significantly enhanced the story, and nowadays you have the less significant but fun quests in the early game that fill that gap anyways (Deadlock protocol, etc)
This is the first video ive seen from you, but i gotta say, i love the way you explain everything, you tell ppl a very good option but dont force it on them, you still tell them they can do whatever, and they can, thats the fun of the game. i lvoe the way you explained and presented everything and even as a 5 -6 year old player you made me feel like theres a fresh start when ever i join the game and look for new players again ill be sure to point them to your video for more usefull tips thenk you on behaf of all the ppl you helped, keep going, i promise ull help many others!
Aaaaw thank you so much for your lovely compliment, Bro! ❤️ Really happy to see that you liked the vid so much! And yeah I agree, it's important to not make people feel dumb when explaining stuff to them ^^ Thank you so much for your awesome support! :D
I have seen MANY beginner tips for waframe since I have started playing back in 2013..... it is very rare to find videos with the quality of your vid. Good job, keep up the good work ;)
Also as of the recent updates in Warframe, rather than buying those slots separately as a beginner in the market, go to the Lua's Prey category and buy the Complete Starter Slot bundle for 45 platinum. It provides 2 weapon, 2 warframe, and 2 companion slots all for the 45 platinum. (Until they retire that bundle)
I wish right before I played this game, I knew about your UA-cam channel. It has a ton of information on what to be aware of and how to start your journey on the game. There’s also heaps more positive things you do though what stands out mostly is the energy you give making it feel more easy to play the game, along with the explanations and everything else. It’s been a big help, Thank you.💯
Fastest way to lvl your frame and Weapons is through Cephalon Simaris doing Onslaught when you unlock it, Same place you can practice your Mastery Rank (MR) before doing the actual test. Also build your personal Quarters for your ship to unlock more missions. Also farm treasures in void for endo. not guaranteed but they are findable. having a farm build will help farm faster
The thing about Endo is true as long as you get mods to upgrade. There is a point in the future that you barely need Endo so you can stockpile. I reached a point where I got 300k+ Endo and about 100k more in Ayatan and duplicate mods. I also believe I can get 100k more in the coming week if I wanted. The issue is that it's so far off into the end game that it's irrelevant. *Do manage your Endo carefully.*
Oh I feel you, Mike :D I once was at that point, too... And then Railjack came xD But sure. The point will come eventually. But gladly you csn still "sell" that Endo for some plat if you don't want to stockpile for future content. So it's not entirely useless ^^
Watching this video for the first time as I hit MR 11 (after 2 years lol) I wish I saw this when I began playing but I do love the learning experience in this game, I’ll definitely share this to any of my friends who play this for the first time
@@MHBlacky_ENG ofc man. Your videos are great and I still use them to help me catch up to things I missed or learn new things to this day. Keep up the awesome work brother 👍🏽
I think extractors are best used on Ceres, Saturn and Deimos for a chance at handfull of orokin cells. For all the new players out there: craft 3 titan extractors and deploy them on these three planets and every once in a while you get some orokin cells (about 4-5).
gotta manage to clear Deimos first; had someone high-leveled from the clan im in help me out in the last mission yesterday because i was just getting my ass beaten
Hey Abrok, that's a good tip for early game, I agree. Orokin Cells are notoriously short in the beginning. Personally after leveling a lot on Helene, Saturn I never struggled with it again but until then sure thing :D
@@MHBlacky_ENG the thing about helene is from my experience its no longer as popular as it once was and you have to solo it most of the time which makes it not efficient for leveling stuff so i still use the method i commented even tho i have 3k hours on steam and almost 1k in game
and for orokin cells farming i recommend getting ignis wraith *FOR FREE* just ask in trade chat for blueprint do some invasions for the materials and use it to farm tethys. resource booster highly recommended and he has a chance to drop 1-2 orokin cells per death also the other troops who die from his radial attacks can drop some too. volt is a nice frame to use for speed and damage increase with his shields.
I'm so glad I watched this. Getting back into this from back in 2014, there are so many changes that I'm still getting caught up on. I had no idea about the sigil for syndicates...
I just started playing and loving Warframe and I've been playing for a few weeks now: I sorely need videos like this cuz the game is overwhelming. ty for providing a video like this.
I love the energy man! Great video for such a small channel. Hope you have more subs soon! I just started playing and this video helped a lot. Thank you!
The second i realized you had to buy more weapon slots i had the most death stare moment imaginable. Because i already had spent the few plats you got and it was after a few days of grind. Oh well, i suppose inventory management is my passion now. Sehr geil.
I just started playing this game 8 days ago & I have to say, I love this game. I’m already MS4, got 1M+ in credits & I have about 7k in endo. I don’t see myself playing any other game for a long time. If you just started out like me, just keep grinding & do research on things you don’t understand.
@@sovereignboar3737 usually I play for a few hours, but I typically take breaks for sure. stepping away from games makes you love them all over again when you come back. But the game has to actually be good. Some might say this game is too complex but I rather this then cod. there’s so many angles to this game.
Howdy Silfrido, I'm happy to hear that you enjoy the game so much :D When you're at the point where you slowly start to get the hang of it and figure stuff out it can be a really addictive feeling :D
@@MHBlacky_ENG Hey there my good sir 🤝🏼. I highly agree, the game becomes more fluent once you rap your head around what’s important. i just didn’t expect to understand so fast lol.
Great video for someone like myself who's giving it another go after a few years hiatus. One thing that did standout as an error, maybe I misunderstood is the "work around" for retrying the master rank scenarios. I failed one last night and tried the work around but I have to wait the 24 hours to attempt it again but I can practice it for what it's worth. Unfortunately it's rank 5 with the terminal hacking and that last one is kind of about getting lucky, I practiced it first and had no problem, jumped into qualification and failed on the last one. Thanks for the advice though, using this to guide me through starting out.
Man I remember playing Warframe about 8ish years ago on the PS4. Lot’s of fun! I quit shortly before they released the snowboard map, can’t recall the name. Sometimes I think of starting again on PC, but redoing all the grind… kinda keeps me away from playing again.
I have some more varied/random tips for newer players, these are mainly time savers more than anything: 1. You should start farming Mastery only when you reach Ceres. Gabii, the dark sector mission, gives the highest affinity boost in the star chart. Don't waste your time on inferior missions, you'll probably be better off with what you have. 2. Syndicates are annoying. Don't dedicate your life leveling them up, especially as a new player. Your mind will naturally gravitate to them later on because you haven't done them early on. This applies to the six syndicates as well as the open world ones. 3. *You do not need Cryotic. Move on.* 4. Set yourself to solo when doing any star chart mission you've never done. I always felt confused about why these missions are so easy and then I realized it's because someone was doing them for me. 5. All Warframes that have a dedicated level to their existance (Voruna, Citrine, etc.) are not worth your time. 6. Buy every blueprint you can, don't worry about being poor. You'll get your money up eventually, especially if you haven't done any star chart missions. 7. Your void relics can wait. To even hope to get every part of a Warframe/Weapon you need to reach atleast Pluto. 8. If a weapon seems expensive to craft; it is. Don't waste your time farming for it. Keep going with the star chart.
This has prolly been said alot already but Noras is also needed for building primes, as her cred offerings is one of the only places i know that you can get nitian extract other than rarely getting it as a log in bonus. And almost every prime warframe ive built so far has needed at least 2, and some rare non primes weapons have needed them too
As a new player, finding out about nightmare missions was a big change. I hadnt realized the difficulty was, like, not endgame, so i didnt find out about nightmare mods until i stumbled across them at MR 9
Thank you a lot again, Delfina :D Yeah the 10 Tips video attracted quite some people. Didn't expect that xD But I'm very happy if my videos are helpful for your start into the Warframe universe ^^
As an 8 year veteran, Warframe is full of prerequisites. Whether it's standing with vox Solaris needing max standing with Solaris U, mastery rank for weapons, nodes for game modes, progression needing Nechramechs/Archwings for things like Nightwave, etc.
I just started playing warframe on ps4 and the folks are so nice, some folks carried me to do high level missions to reap the rewards of their work and whenever i go to a relay i always get random affinity boosters
I was about to drop the game because it's just so overwhelming and I didn't even know what to do next but you made me change my mind! I'll just focus on clearing the star chart and then worry about the other content later on, thanks for the tips!
The tip I give to every new player, the warframe fandom wiki is your best friend. It contains answers to pretty much all the questions you might have and then it provides answers to questions you didn't know to ask.
I always try my best to help new people that join the clan I’m in. Your first thing is to join a helpful clan. That’s how I got most of my information from.
regarding the mastery rank tests, you almost mentioned it, but not quite, when you're up for a mastery test, at cephalon simarus's place, you have the chance to PRACTICE your mastery rank up. you can then accomplish it there once you have it down. that said, there are only a few that are actually tricky that require practice, namely the stealth check ones. the rest you shouldn't ***need*** to practice, but it never hurts to, and only takes a couple minutes to get an idea of what you're in for.
It's been a while since I played. I guess much has changed for the better. Downloaded it last night and played a mission this morning. Gameplay feels great like it always has and just now coming back to it, it'll take some time to get comfortable.
This is a really good vid, especially since it seems like crossplay is on the horizon so more new players will be coming in. Gonna pass this along to some of my friends
FYI: 10:50, The method of passively gaining Syndicate standing is out of date. In a recent update DE changed this. In the syndicate console at the front of your ship (left), in the bottom right corner there will be an option to select which syndicate you want to earn standing for. Simply select and confirm then you are done. You no longer need to fiddle with your sigils.
started my warframe journey yesterday and its kinda overwhelming at first. guess thats with every mmo haha. thanks for the video it gave me an overall idea and cleared the fog :)
Honestly the best advice would be play the game at your own pace. Don't speed run into anything. I know there's alot of good stuff in the game but this is a grindy game after all. I usually play for 2-3 hours just to focus on building a weapon and I get off to play something else.
Something I just discovered last week. Don't be too fast to sell off weak guns after you hit lvl 30 on them. Some weapons like the (I think it's called) Akfuris requires 2 Furis to craft it. Knowing in advance if you need to double up can be the difference between 24 hours to craft the 2nd and new gun vs 36 rebuying a sold gun, crafting 2, then crafting the new weapon.
I know you emphasized it and this video is over a year old, but the biggest tip I can give, is if you're for example thinking of buying a warframe from the market, it's almost always slightly cheaper to buy the prime version, rush the construction, and install an orokin catalyst (that last part is a must have to perfect a build as it effectively lets you double up all your mods by infusing them)
I know this is an old vid but As someone that has just started, there is a starter bundle that is 45 plat that gives you 2 weapons and 2 frame slots…cheaper then paying separately:)
Warframe wiki/googling would be my Number 1 Tip. Since ressource drones don't actually cover ALL materials you can get on a planet, but only the ressources that a ressource drone can gather. For example, oxium, not being planet specific, but rather enemy-specific, with the oxium osprey. Or Argon crystals in the void I believe. My Number 2 Tip would be, play different missions. Even if they don't sound appealing, if you only play the same stuff the game will get boring. But if you play variety, not only will it help with ressources, but also keeping the game interesting
I finally got a graphic card that allows me to play Warframe maxed out at 144 fps so I search for a beginner's guide, I'm so overwhelmed right now haha. Thank you very much for this video, MHBlacky 😊😊
hi there, very nice, may i add for MR : if you find an item that you do not like/hate lvl it to 30 only then delete/sell so you will not come back later to recraft re lvl just to do from 24 to 30 then resell :) , Artax + Cryotra are your best friend for some weird rivens unveil tasks so they are a keeper (imo) , try do the MK1 weapons early in the game (they are cheap in market, + a lot of MR). The best i liked and recomend a lot is the disolve+mk1+lvl to 30
To reduce time spent waiting in the foundry, go ahead and get the materials to craft it and craft it. This way even if you dont have slots available for the new weapon, warframe etc, it will be ready to claim in the foundry when you are ready.
When I played warframe in 2020 the only way you could possibly get any drip at all was by buying it with platinum. Nowadays sure you can get a lot more cosmetics if you use platinum but the fact we have a way to at least earn some cosmetics without spending any money is amazing. Giving you free ways to earn platinum and giving you ways to not have to use platinum at all really puts me in good graces with the developers
Almost MR19, but when I was new I thought that for the prime Warframe Parts, you need to sell the blueprint and not the actual crafted item, so I always made a ton of prime Warframe parts and wondered why I could never sell them haha
I am beginner. After 50 hours i had to open more weapon slots and warframes since i was able to craft my first two warframes.A Necro and a Zephyr.I saw that 2000 platinum was on sales for 25€ so i bought them mostly to support the game since it is f...g amazing and so fun and addictive.
you dont have to go to simaris to practice your rank up test, if you go to the menu to start the test theres a small button in the lower right side that says practice.
I disagree about buying weapon or frame slots because they practically give them to you for free in Nightwave. Of course it'll take a while, but it's a free option. Save the plat for actual weapons or frames.
If you play through story quests, regardless if you've reached that planet the game will take you there. The only thing that stops you is some quests require certain items but it's usually things you get as you do the quests. Normally this doesn't matter but when youre just starting out the junctions can be annoying to do so you can skip them and do a few higher level missions to power up then come back and do the junction. It's just something to help keep your sanity when you're still a squishy new tenno. Also, use all the weapons you can when you're starting and get them to max rank regardless of how trash it is. This will help get your Mastery rank up quickly and it's better to use the trash guns early, also helps to get a feel for what type of build you will play through the majority of your starchart with. It's so annoying bringing a trash gun into a high lvl defense just for the mastery progress on a gun you'll never really use.
as my friend gave mee this tip years back its not something i wish i knew since i already knew, but the best 2 early game warframes to get are valkyr and rhino, valkyr just smashes trough the star chart and another thing is with the 6 syndicates pick 3 on the left or right(you can keep 3 up easely iff you follow that rule)
Hey gerry, if you know the game already then yes, the start is a really nice feeling ^-^ If you're new and completely overwhelmed then people might have different opinions. But I personally also really like starting fresh ^^
Which one is your top Warframe Beginner Tip? 😊
I would've recommend the vid buuuttt... Umbra. Well, that is if I want to hide stuff.
@@abrokgamerbg Oh yeah... Don't even get me started on all the people trying to sell it for plat -.- On Switch I've heard it's a bit different because no clan has access to it for free but maybe crossplay will change this ^^

Sometime you will regret it because you maybe wanna be mr 9 as soon as possible to get the ignis wraith
@@MHBlacky_ENG currently the only way to get is to farm a specific railjack mission... which is kinda late game but also hella amazing way to get credits and carbites (not to mention ignis wraith blueprints is so so freaking rare I think I might actually suffer a brain hemorage from hearing cephalon Cy warm me about enemies incoming for the 1 069 720'th time.
ngl not a lot of people know this but in a excavation mission you can pick up 2 batteries, but you need a operator
Thank you for the headsup, Kyle! I actually didn't know :D
Wow…
Thx I knew this aswell
About doing both things at the same time: sadly the operator can't capture a tower in the same time than frame in interceptions missions
Same trick works for capturing containers in orb valis missions
General advice for weapon modding:
1: Play to your weapons strength.
There's four different types that will increase your base damage and they work differently:
1: General damage increase.
Howdy Darthplagueis, thank you for taking the time to write this huge comment!
thanks for the info!
That was helpful. Thanks bud

Thank I just started playing I really appreciate this comment
For your tip 1, it's worth noting there's a "Complete Starter Slot Bundle" in the marketplace that gives 2x Warframe Slot, 2x Weapon Slot, and 2x Companion Slot for 45 Plat, so you get an extra warframe slot and 2 companion slots for 1 more plat than buying 2x weapon and 1x warframe as suggested.
Thank you for the helpful tip! :D
I'm super sad that this bundle came out after this video. Since then I've been recommending it to everyone aswell. It's crazy high value for starters.

@@terryfries the starter bundle is no longer available.
@Terry Fries over the duration of your journey in the game, it's insignificant
@@MHBlacky_ENG and its gone XDDDD!
Pretty good video. My biggest tip that you haven't already covered is this:
KEEP MOVING.
Thank you for adding this valuable tip, OniGanon :D
Definitely moving is king. Not only for the reasons mentioned but also simply because the AI is coded to have less precision when aiming at a moving target ^^
Also rolling looks funky at the start and unpreffersble since it feels less controlled than other mechanics
But it actually makes up for it in more situations than you'd think due to damage reduction and stagger/flinch immunity when you see something coming
Yes you are locked in a roll animation momentarily but it's a lot more controll than being knocked over and taking full damage
@@chocolatelover9121 I wish there was s mod to reduce rolling distance so you could actually use it as a proper dodge roll ^^
So it's like doom?
BIGGEST FACTS EVER I sold my old ones and regretted it, also I learnt the hard way about moving man that is HUGE
also good to know for new players when they get to the second dream quest and you get to the part where you need to fight the eye on lua when you completed that dont forget ot pickup your first lua puzzle mod cause i reckon many people just go to extraction when its done but that part you do from the quest is actually one of the puzzles you can solve on lua so dont forget to pickup the mod

Very nice tipps indeed. Thank you for sharing! :D
What’s a dojo? They have that in war frame 😂?
How do you know which ones are good? And how exactly do you do them?
Ask in recruit chat LF clan 100% research and you'll most likely get a couple msg ask them to link there dojo and look around the stats ETC make sure it's populated and join than you'll have access to clan chat and alliance chat after that build your clan key@@cardeccia
My tips:
1: Choose the Skana sword during Awakening.
Thank you for the VERY detailled comment and all your tips

Haha yeah I know what you mean... You're thinking "Well nice a mindless horde-shooter where the only thing changing over time is the visuals of the planets" And then once you reach Uranus everything starts to unfold ^^
I find it to be a stupid decision to first start the story after 2/3 of the star chart is already completed but hey, that's how it is xD
Just thoughts from someone who hasn't actually made it to those late game missions
should I get volt?

1) Steel / Suda / Hexis / Veil
Only run Steel / Suda missions, have a Steel Sigil equipped
(well, also equip a Suda Sigil until you are Rank 1 with them, heh).
Suda won't interfere with Steel and gives you +50% Hexis,
the -50% Veil is made up by the +50% Veil from Steel
and the Steel Sigil (no negative for Suda / Hexis) finally gets Veil into positive.
2) Veil / Loka / Perrin / Steel
Only run Veil / Loka missions, have a Veil Sigil equipped.
Works pretty much like the previous.
FYI, this combination makes you miss out on Suda's unique Large Team Shield Restore
(no big deal IMO, plus you can switch Syndicates to eventually get everything).
3) Perrin / Hexis / Loka / Suda
Only run Perrin / Hexis missions, alternate between Perrin / Hexis Sigils.
Perrin / Hexis are opposed but you still get a total of +50% for each
and they don't interfere with Loka / Suda so it's +50% each there, as well.
FYI, this combination makes you miss out on Veil's unique Large Team Ammo Restore
(maybe somewhat of a big deal, dunno).
All large restores have a 100x blueprint in dojo now, so you only miss the 10x bp from Suda in 2.
Thank you for taking the time to explain the variants in detail :D
Tbh when I started with Syndicates I had no idea what I was doing and after some time I just stuck with the top three and traded for the items of the others :P

And then Railjack came xD
But sure. The point will come eventually. But gladly you csn still "sell" that Endo for some plat if you don't want to stockpile for future content. So it's not entirely useless ^^
@@MHBlacky_ENGi quit when thatcame Along. More endless grinding to build stuff.
Watching this video for the first time as I hit MR 11 (after 2 years lol) I wish I saw this when I began playing but I do love the learning experience in this game, I’ll definitely share this to any of my friends who play this for the first time
Wow, thank you so much for your support my friend
I'm always happy to hear about nice vets helping out. Also happy for you for being done with Deimos now :D
I don't know why I watch these despite being playing for 4 years. Nice video man.
Well cheers anyway for watching and thank you for your nice feedback
I just started playing and loving Warframe and I've been playing for a few weeks now: I sorely need videos like this cuz the game is overwhelming. ty for providing a video like this.
Gr8 content, as a older player u still got me viewing it all
Aaaw thank you so much for the amazing compliment, Guillermo!
Great video! I'm not a new player but i can see new players finding this video and thank you for the tips
And thank you for your kind feedback and your support, Attsar
Started playing one week ago and I was so lost with all there is to learn. Thank you for the vid it helped a lot 🤝🏻
Haven't played in a couple years and was completely lost when I came back. This helps a ton, thanks!
I thank you for the nice feedback ❤️ And much success with your restart of the game 😉
I love the energy man! Great video for such a small channel. Hope you have more subs soon! I just started playing and this video helped a lot. Thank you!

Loving the videos, long time Destiny player that is trying Warframe and Im hooked
Dude, thank you! Great videos. This was extremely informing even for a returning player.
I just started playing this game 8 days ago & I have to say, I love this game. I’m already MS4, got 1M+ in credits & I have about 7k in endo.
I don’t see myself playing any other game for a long time. If you just started out like me, just keep grinding & do research on things you don’t understand.
Make sure to take breaks from my experience burn out with this game hits hard so make sure to take breaks
@@MHBlacky_ENG Definitely going to need platinum soon for those harder planets.
Thanks for the advice though, using this to guide me through starting out.
i spent my starting platinum on rushing the ascaris negator and i cant feel more regret
Man I remember playing Warframe about 8ish years ago on the PS4. Lot’s of fun! I quit shortly before they released the snowboard map, can’t recall the name.
Sometimes I think of starting again on PC, but redoing all the grind… kinda keeps me away from playing again.
Thank you. This was exactly the type of video I was searching for.
I thank you for the nice feedback!
I have some more varied/random tips for newer players, these are mainly time savers more than anything:
Move on.*
I HAVE BEEN FISHING FOR 4 HOURS! I CANT FUCKING STOP!
This has prolly been said alot already but Noras is also needed for building primes, as her cred offerings is one of the only places i know that you can get nitian extract other than rarely getting it as a log in bonus. And almost every prime warframe ive built so far has needed at least 2, and some rare non primes weapons have needed them too
I just started 4 days ago and still can't figure it out, this video is very helpful, thank you
Why do you not have more subs this is such high quality content keep at it bro
As a new player, finding out about nightmare missions was a big change. I hadnt realized the difficulty was, like, not endgame, so i didnt find out about nightmare mods until i stumbled across them at MR 9
most helpful video I've seen on this game by far. learned alot thank you was looking forward to the modding tho hahah
Great video again, you got 100 subs from my last comment. Glad to find you as I'm starting the game.
Thank you a lot again, Delfina :D
Yeah the 10 Tips video attracted quite some people. Didn't expect that xD
But I'm very happy if my videos are helpful for your start into the Warframe universe ^^
I'm overwhelmed just watching this video 😂
I'm about to use the dread bow next, I just got to Uranus.
I always try my best to help new people that join the clan I’m in. Your first thing is to join a helpful clan. That’s how I got most of my information from.
Good video mate, you answered a few questions I had regarding modding. Thanks. Subbed.
regarding the mastery rank tests, you almost mentioned it, but not quite, when you're up for a mastery test, at cephalon simarus's place, you have the chance to PRACTICE your mastery rank up. you can then accomplish it there once you have it down.
that said, there are only a few that are actually tricky that require practice, namely the stealth check ones. the rest you shouldn't ***need*** to practice, but it never hurts to, and only takes a couple minutes to get an idea of what you're in for.
Hey Genoprototype, thank you for the lovely compliment
FYI: 10:50, The method of passively gaining Syndicate standing is out of date. In a recent update DE changed this. In the syndicate console at the front of your ship (left), in the bottom right corner there will be an option to select which syndicate you want to earn standing for. Simply select and confirm then you are done. You no longer need to fiddle with your sigils.
Thank you for the helpful addition! That's right! Unfortunately DE decided to change that mere days after I released this... Good timing xD
@@MHBlacky_ENG No problem. Anything to help out our new fellow tenno.

Yes, the first week or two will be a lot. But over time you will get there ^^
For me doin the missions, I get players that help me for no reason and I appreciate it
That's great! I'm happy to hear that you ran into friendly peops :D
9:48 Tipp: on the window where you start a mastery test, bottom right you have a button called "Train".
good thing I watch this, I have been interested in this game but got bored when I am starting cuz everything is repetitive at first
Honestly the best advice would be play the game at your own pace.
I know you emphasized it and this video is over a year old, but the biggest tip I can give, is if you're for example thinking of buying a warframe from the market, it's almost always slightly cheaper to buy the prime version, rush the construction, and install an orokin catalyst (that last part is a must have to perfect a build as it effectively lets you double up all your mods by infusing them)
Warframe wiki is the best friend and videos 🔥🔥 always look for good weapons with good critical chance , c damage , status 👍
I know this is an old vid but As someone that has just started, there is a starter bundle that is 45 plat that gives you 2 weapons and 2 frame slots…cheaper then paying separately:)
I really hate the fact that UA-cam got rid of the textbox feature :(
I'd have loved to add this as an infobox.
Honestly, I've just been havin fun running around like a headless chicken just doing missions, staring at all the particles flying about
Warframe wiki/googling would be my Number 1 Tip.
There really is a lot to the game, but I'm enjoying it (about 20 hours in).
Wtf man,
Wenn ich nicht wüsste das du deutsch bist, hätte ich es wirklich nicht rausgehört.
Richtig gutes Video Blacky 💪🏼

I finally got a graphic card that allows me to play Warframe maxed out at 144 fps so I search for a beginner's guide, I'm so overwhelmed right now haha. Thank you very much for this video, MHBlacky 😊😊
wowowowo tyyy so much im a beginner who still in earth and glad to see this vid as early as i can this will help me alot so much
hi there, very nice, may i add for MR : if you find an item that you do not like/hate lvl it to 30 only then delete/sell so you will not come back later to recraft re lvl just to do from 24 to 30 then resell :) , Artax + Cryotra are your best friend for some weird rivens unveil tasks so they are a keeper (imo) , try do the MK1 weapons early in the game (they are cheap in market, + a lot of MR). The best i liked and recomend a lot is the disolve+mk1+lvl to 30
Thank you for the nice feedback :D
Also your tip with the MR is definitely useful. I can remember how many weapons I had to rebuild back in the day xD
To reduce time spent waiting in the foundry, go ahead and get the materials to craft it and craft it. This way even if you dont have slots available for the new weapon, warframe etc, it will be ready to claim in the foundry when you are ready.
For your mastery tests, you csn press a button that lets you practice a test without having to to a relay. For playstation you press square
im new to the game, and i got blown away. Its just a great game.
Ouh that's unfortunate D: But gladly now you know :D
@@MHBlacky_ENG Haha thanks! xD

Absolutely right! It has just been a while since I last ranked up so I missed that change xD
Ngl the volt prime drip told me you def know what youre talkin about.
You are a great content creator. Keep it up.
Aaaw thank you so much for the lovely compliment Scotty
as my friend gave mee this tip years back its not something i wish i knew since i already knew, but the best 2 early game warframes to get are valkyr and rhino, valkyr just smashes trough the star chart
and another thing is with the 6 syndicates pick 3 on the left or right(you can keep 3 up easely iff you follow that rule)
Dude, always a top 5 tip I give newbies is that a Clan will help you out IMMENSELY!!!
The start is always the best, I might start playing on pc and abandon my old 2017 account on ps4.
Hey gerry, if you know the game already then yes, the start is a really nice feeling ^-^ If you're new and completely overwhelmed then people might have different opinions. But I personally also really like starting fresh ^^
