Linkedin has a lot way more updates in 2022 than in 2020. Changing titles while uploading the video 2 years ago is misleading to those who want to optimize their profiles. Sad, UA-camrs care about views, not caring about what they truly bring to the table. Sorry, Prof, had to tell you this.

Hi Heather. I just found you, and enjoy your videos! What should you do if you have multiple skills that don't have anything in common? For example, music production vs payroll/HR. I understand that you can't have more than 1 linkedin profile. Also, for music, I go by a different name than for corporate work.

Loved it. So good and simple. I don't know how to "accept" new people. Where do I learn this and what's the diffference between number of connections vs contacts?
This is why I have so many problems with resumes and applications. Talking myself up goes against almost everything I learned from being in the working world. I've seen to many people basically BS their way into positions that they weren't ready or prepared for. Sometimes it works but more often than not they make a mess out of it somewhere or someway.
I guess maybe I just fall in line with the rest and do the same.

Hi Heather, thank you for sharing you wisdom and information here on UA-cam. I was told that I should start a Linkedin Profile for a Business that I will be launching sometime in January 2021. I had never heard of Linkedin prior to today. I viewed your video, I am going to take the mini course that you posted above. I do have a couple questions. Is there a difference in setting up a personal vs a business profile? Maybe I should have gone through your mini course first before asking this question. I don't plan on creating an account until I have completed the courses so that I can have better understanding of what I am doing. One more thing. I don't have clients, nor have I taken a certification course for Life Coaching however I can bring great value to those in care giving roles based on my years of experience. My question is do you have any tips on what I can put in the section for time working in the role of a life coach? My goal for using Linkedin is for potential clients to get more in site about me.
Great question! Highlight your caregiving experience and unique perspective in the Summary section. Discuss your passion for coaching and your mission. For the Experience section, list relevant skills, and any informal coaching or support you've provided. Include testimonials as you get them. Good luck with your business!

Great video Prof. I have a question. Due to covid I had to change my career. I paid for all classes and got the equipment. I do not have any experience in my new field of Loan Signing Agent and Notary. However, I do have experience in Real Estate Wholesale and buying and selling homes in 2008. I worked in hospitality as a server but that's not what I want to promote. So what should I place in my work experience so others can contact me in my new work field?
