The patriarch of my husband’s family passed away yesterday and I was trying to figure out sympathy cards. Couldn’t have been better timing. I sat right down and made 4 cards. I didn’t change a thing as yours were perfect. Thanks.
Connie- A great card for many occasions & many people. This is a great sympathy card as well. Sadly they are needed sometimes. This one is perfect for that sad occasion. You done a nice job on these cards. Thank you for sharing your creativity with everyone ! I appreciate watching your videos! 💕
Perfect, masculine card and fitting for the difficult life event. Thank you, Connie! Both cards turned out great and i going to try your variation to watercoloring! Happy Saturday!
@@simplysimplestamping Another question...If your paper is a bit wrinkled from water coloring could you use a dry (low temp) iron to flatten it? Have you ever tried this? I have repaired papers that were warped with a dry iron but never with the ink already on it. What do you think?
Thank you so much for these lovely sympathy cards designs. These are always the hardest to find. I enjoy all your videos and have learned many new techniques by watching.
Love this card Connie, it’s so versatile. I find if you run the wrinkled piece of card through the plates of your die cutting machine, it should smooth out any wrinkles nicely. 🌸
Both are pretty but I especially love the masculine card! This stamp set has so much potential. I made a card using the branch, inked with Granny Apple Green and then thumped Mossy Meadow regular marker all around. Huffed on it and then stamped it. This gave it that variegated look. Turned out very nice! Thanks for sharing! As always, I look forward to your videos!
Just a tip to conserve on your paper: Use a large rectangular die to cut out the center of your mat paper. You get the mat edge, but haven’t wasted all of that beautiful paper behind the card front that isn’t seen anyway! I use this trick in my card making classes. Ps I love this card, 😊
Connie Stewart that makes complete sense. I have just found your channel and love your videos! I get the notification now when you are on and I get to see all of your new, fun and exciting cards!
Sympathy cards are always difficult to create, but this one is lovely. Do you find the alcohol warps the paper less then using water for the watercolor wash?
Connie Stewart thanks. I make some cards for friends both male and female for anniversaries and really didn’t have any ideas. I like the ones you use. Again thanks, your the best.
Wondering if you thought we could do this watercolor technic and use one of the animals from Nature’s Beauty? I’m having a hard time using these animals without coloring them in and I don’t have much to color them in with. What are your thoughts. I just love this card style! TFS
Love the alcohol and brush tip
Thank you!
Thumbs up as usual
Great male card, Connie I forget about the watercolor wash so thanks for the reminder.
Thanks Connie!

Can you do a few sessions of multiple card ideas with one stamp set?
Love that these cards can be done in a few minutes! Unfortunately, had two sympathy cards in the last two weeks. 😢
Lovely
Daphne, thanks so much.
Sympathy cards are always difficult to create, but this one is lovely. Do you find the alcohol warps the paper less then using water for the watercolor wash?
Could you run your cardstock through the die cutting machine to flatten it?
Connie can you do an anniversary card and recommend stamps/sets that you can use. Not many out there.
Connie Stewart thanks. I make some cards for friends both male and female for anniversaries and really didn’t have any ideas. I like the ones you use. Again thanks, your the best.

Nice card, just what I was looking for. Any thoughts on the best way to clean the shammy? I know some inks will stain ,but any way best to clean it?
Roxanne, you can rinse it out really well with hot water. But honestly they will stain.
would Very Vanilla extra thick do the same thing?
Hi, Are the barrels easy to squeeze on the water brushes or hard plastic? I have lower hand strength. Thank you.
Deborah, I find them to be simple to use.
Like adding the alcohol instead of water
