Now kicks comes with 1.3L turbo which produces a whopping 150 horses and also it's the same engine used in mercedes A class and obviously Ecosport is of no match with Kicks right now. Also the overall ride quality and comfort of Kicks is on another level. Cabin isolation and engine refinement, as already mentioned in the video, is also better in the kicks. Moreover it comes with 360 camera and overall is a bigger car than Ecosport in all dimensions. Even the boot space in Kicks is 400 litres whereas in Ecosport it's 352. Coming to the tyre size, in Kicks you get 215/60/17 while in Ecosport you get 205/60/16. Also, the ambience, premiumness, luxuriousness and overall quality of the cabin is little bit better in Kicks. Not to forget, the ground clearance. Yes, it's 210 mm on the kicks while 200 mm on the Ecosport. Kicks is costlier, obviously. So considering the price, Ecosport is a great car in it's segment but when it comes to a better car of the two, definitely it's the kicks. People crying about sunroof won't even use it 95% of the time. So literally no point in having one. However in terms of after sales service, Ford is much ahead of Nissan, I believe.

Even though both are different segment Ecosport looks as big as Kicks . Still the driver's car is Ford . Nissan looks premium in interior and spacious. Ford is value for money as it's cheaper even 10lack Ecosport Trend variant onroad gets all the bells and whistles. While base kicks will cost around 12 lacks Diesel variants.

I test rode Ecosport and kicks. The ride quality is two times better than Ecosport. Kicks has superior space and refinement is also better. Especially diesel XL version costs the same as S diesel with far better space. I am seriously considering kicks. Everything is a notch better in kicks. It is sad such a great product is not marketed and not supported by good dealerships. The value for money is too good. Kicks even has ESC.
When you compare both the top end specs the value offered by Ford in terms of features and looks far outweigh the kicks, in my opinion kicks should been priced competitively. for 18+ Lakh i would rather prefer better features with addition of sunroof, Auto Transmission, electric seat adjustment, telemetry etc... this was a comeback for Nissan, they should have been more aggressive in terms of pricing. Not to forgot there are bunch of other SUV's entering this year in indian market with quite a punch and priced aggressively, for example XUV 300, Vitara, Kia so on and so forth
Sir you failed to mention the price difference of 3 lacs plus. Ecosports has the best build quality with superb responsive 1.5 engine. Agreed space is at a premium on the rear seat on comparison. Otherwise it a drivers fun to drive car. I found on comparison Kicks engine does not provide that zip-zap-zoom excitement of a SUV. It fails in powerpick until it revs to 1500-2000rpm or 20-30kms marker. Whereas Ecosports does deliver far better response in the same zone. Kicks like Captur I feel is over priced vehicle. Fail to understand the logic by Renault Nissan group. Maybe they have poor localisation of parts & hence expensive. I think Nissan-Renault is not interested in establishing themselves in India. Otherwise they should have learnt from their mistakes of Captur's launch pricing & response from Indian buyers. They have repeated the same mistake again with Kicks. I am seriously planning to buy Kicks but I am afraid if it will not be a mistake, considering the tussle between Renault and Nissan for ownership and due to the Dealers Vs Nissan issues. How would we the customers be affected and how will be the long term service etc. from Nissan Kick's Service Centres in India... I am from Varanasi (U.P.). If you are planning to use 50k to 65k kms then ecosport is better. But more than 75k kicks has more good choice.Because its engine is far durable. Even 150k kms its cruising. Reason is its same as duster engine
The price of both cars is not even spoken about! Kicks Petrol top end costs 13.7 lacs on road Bangalore.. while Diesel top end costs 18.4 lacs! EcoSport Petrol top end costs 13.2 lacs.. Diesel top end costs just 13.9 lacs!! So between Diesel models there's a price difference of a whopping 4.5 lacs!!!!

I had a test drive of kicks. Frankly speaking this is worst vehicle from Nissan. Very noisy cabin and gear vibration and steering feels very heavy. Only plus point no body roll. Cabin is also not much spacious. I don't know why these channels are bluffing the people. Except the boot ecosport is spacious than kicks. There is no punch in the engine. Breaking is also not good.
I only need two features in ecosport..ie rear ac vents and 360 degree camera view that's it.. ecosport is by far the best car to drive in 13lk price cars... the way it pulls and handles is amazing..I fell Nissan kicks is overpriced

Dear Aahish Ji, thanks for the great video... I am seriously planning to buy Kicks but I am afraid if it will not be a mistake, considering the tussle between Renault and Nissan for ownership and due to the Dealers Vs Nissan issues. How would we the customers be affected and how will be the long term service etc. from Nissan Kick's Service Centres in India... I am from Varanasi (U.P.). Please suggest if I should take the chance or I should go with Creta to be on a safer side. As such I liked the Kicks ver much during my multiple test rides, both of Creta and Kicks... Kicks is just as you reviewed if to be great.... please suggest and clear my doubts.
Ecosport is just a grown cheap sub 4 meter cross over, Kicks is a 4+ meter crossover it should be compared with S cross and Captur only

If you are planning to use 50k to 65k kms then ecosport is better. But more than 75k kicks has more good choice.Because its engine is far durable. Even 150k kms its cruising. Reason is its same as duster engine
The price of both cars is not even spoken about!
Kicks Petrol top end costs 13.7 lacs on road Bangalore.. while Diesel top end costs 18.4 lacs!
EcoSport Petrol top end costs 13.2 lacs.. Diesel top end costs just 13.9 lacs!!
So between Diesel models there's a price difference of a whopping 4.5 lacs!!!!

Just go for the new xuv300 it's faster than both of these and have more features than both of these. Only thing to complain is the bootspace

hey asshole The kicks build quality is good.I have one and it is really nice..THOUGH there are some places where the plastic feels cheap like the glove box and the cruise control are. Rest is nice.I agree that ford is better than nissan in terms of build quality. YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR FACTS BEFORE WRITING SHIT LIKE PEOPLE PAID YOU TO SAY THAT. It's his perspective

I had a test drive of kicks. Frankly speaking this is worst vehicle from Nissan. Very noisy cabin and gear vibration and steering feels very heavy. Only plus point no body roll. Cabin is also not much spacious. I don't know why these channels are bluffing the people. Except the boot ecosport is spacious than kicks. There is no punch in the engine. Breaking is also not good.
Kicks is a big size car EcoSport is otehr segment

I only need two features in ecosport..ie rear ac vents and 360 degree camera view that's it.. ecosport is by far the best car to drive in 13lk price cars... the way it pulls and handles is amazing..I fell Nissan kicks is overpriced

I regularly follow your channel. I did not expect this type of videos which is neither considerable nor of any importance. Ecosport is sub-four meter compact SUV and KICKS is not. Moreover KICKS is premium segment vehicle. Ecosport comparable cars are brezza, nexon etc......

Dude it's not a alturas which comes through ckd but xuv300 will be made in india. It will take no time in beating nexon and ecosport, beating brezza will take time. Even creta and kicks don't stand a chance in front of xuv300 as it has the same wheelbase, also the performance figures are more than that of any compact suv
