Lenormand iis so underrated like i see everywhere tarot readings and people do it as a living and such but lenormand is so much in the dark. It has so much less informations on the platforms i was suprised
There’s nothing wrong with doing both. I mostly do tarot, but I’m learning how to do a bit of lenormand and oracle. So I’m doing 3 types of divination.
I just started lerning Lenormand, and I was at a loss, shooting in all directions, feeling like I would never even memorize which card is which number. I found your channel this afternoon, watched two of your videos, and everything now seems to have fallen into place: my anxiety disappeared, and trust in the process has taken its place. Thank you so much for making it all clear and explaining things so well. Greetings from Brazil! 🙏🙂
Thank you for this awesome info. I just bought a few LENORMAND decks. I have been feeling a bit intimidated to start learning as I didn’t know from where to start. I am so happy I found your channel!
At the moment I'm working with two sets of resources for Lenormand: Your starter guide, and the Easy Lenormand deck and handbook box set by Marcus Katz & Tali Goodwin. I would have bought a deck instead of a box set, probably the Blue Bird Lenormand. Ordered a copy of the deck you created. Feels like the Lenormand answer to the Everyday Tarot. Thank you so much for the work you're doing!
Purchased The Complete Lenormand Oracle Handbook: Reading the Language and Symbols of the Cards from a local metaphysical bookshop, and Lenormand Thirty Six Cards: An Introduction to the Petit Lenormand, from Amazon. Feels like the only two books about Lenormand I'll need for a WHILE.
Thank you so much! I have bought a wonderful deck but have been slouching in practicing my divination because I started with three cards right away and didn't write anything down or try to do my own interpretation of cards so I kind of burnt out on it. This makes the whole thing seem more approachable. I'm gonna start again at one card and get into it slowly.
Hello teacher, I would add that one of the best ways to start with Lenormand is with readings of even cards 2, 4, 6.but with readings of external issues such as news and inquiries from other people outside of us, Putin and the war, Prince William, etc.At first, do not start with us because these readings can stress us, and the reading can be very confusing. Better another type of reading that does not involve our emotions. Another issue that no one has realized is that over time the cards are programmed with us and the meanings are very similar to the pendulum. For this reason it is important to learn some basic meanings and over time we ourselves add other words that we feel. Greetings from Colombia
Thank you. Very good advice. Do not go everywhere gor nrw resources. So many different catd mranings out there to start with. Again important advice. I am only starting.
Thank you for your video. It’s awesome. I am very brand new and my biggest challenge is my own anxiety when I see scary cards. My husband doesn’t want me to read them because I get anxious.
Thank you so much Layla I live Lenormand and can’t wait to learn it properly.. like others sometimes I can’t see the interpretation with what the card represents. Following the tutorials here avidly .. thank you
Only discovered this deck this morning and went out and brought a deck. Then came home and your the first video that came up and guess what… my name is leyla it’s definitely a sign
I was just looking at the new version of this deck and it looks so good, especially for beginners with all the color associations! How is it going so far with it?😀
Sometimes I ask a question but the cards don't seem to match the question at all. I'm also still not very sure when I combine the meanings. When I lay three cards shall I combine the meaning of the the first card with that of the second one and the meaning of the second one with that of the third one? I remember reading that it is possible to combine the first with the third.
It's possible to interpret the cards for any question or context. And card combinations are basically everything in Lenormand. Yes, 1+2 then 2+3 then combine the lot is the way to go in general. But the cards might also tell of a sequence of events. Check out my blog for more ideas about how to combine the cards, and stay tuned for more videos about this all important Lenormand topic.
I get stuck on how there can be so many meanings. Also, I see so many variations on how you're meant to read different spreads. E.g. tbree-card combinations - the second card is describing the first, or it's the other way around.
I hear you Amal, that's why I suggest trimming the list of resources you use when starting out. Stick with a simple meaning of each card, ask a question, draw 1, 2, or 3 cards and think about how they might answer the question. With practice, you'll become more insightful.
@@LenormandReader Thanks, Layla. I like your suggestions, I think I just need to forget what I've learnt before in a way. You also seem to suggest attributing our own meanings, which I like. I was told that you are not interpreting the cards the way you do tarot (which is true, I guess), that it's quite literal. Yet your intuition should be involved.
Hey, what do you think about "A practical guide to the Lenorman oracle cards" book by Christiane Renner? It is published by Lo Scarabeo. Do you think it's worth getting for someone that's only starting out?

I'd have to look it up. Maybe I should start a video series of book and deck reviews? I'll consider that.
