I’m currently dealing with the same mental mindset. Going from being super satisfied with all my blessings to then feeling unfulfilled and wishing I had more. Being too comfortable isn’t always a good thing because then we can slow progression and not go after our dreams. Desiring too much can potentially make us ungrateful and selfish. There’s a healthy balance and some days it’s hard to find. It’s a work in progress lol
You hit the nail on the head Gia. I think life is spent seeking comfort. That is why we go to work. So we can have the comforts that we seek. Ultimately, we need to be feeling blessed even when it isn’t comfortable. As is summed up perfectly in one of my favorite Kutless songs, “No matter my lot thou has taught me to say: It is well, it is well with my soul.”

My dog goes crazy for bully sticks, also look into Himalayan chews. It’s just basically a hard cheese like thing that is a long lasting chew and you can microwave it when they get to the last bit and it turns into a crunchy puff. It’s a safe option for sure.

Catching up on some old videos and wanted to share this- someone may have already told you or you may have found different storage by now, but I started storing my makeup brushes under the counter rather than on top of the counter, because I read leaving them out in the open collects dust and bacteria and whatnot way faster, which makes sense! :)

Bully sticks are great! My Henry loves them, and he's 5 years old now. A sales associate at a pet store told me that it's a good idea to get different types because it poses a challenge to them, so I get the straight ones and also the ones that look like curly fries. I do toss them when they get down to about 2" for safety because I have heard of dogs choking on them or it getting stuck inside their mouth. Amazon has some good ones. I've had luck with the Red Barn brand for the curly ones.
Hi Allison! A lovely video- as always! :) I just wanted to give you the advice to always keep a close eye on Palmer when he has the Bully Sticks or any other hard chew treat like that to avoid choking or sharp ends poking and causing harm. One of the first few days with our first dog he got a hard bone-type chew treat like that caught in his throat and it was terrifying! Luckily my Mom got it out and all was well and it never happened again, but I wanted to send the precaution to you to avoid any situations like that for little Palmer! Anyways, stay well and keep smiling and give the little pup a belly rub from me! ;)

The part where you say even you want more, I wonder what that MORE could ever even be when I watch your life, like thats left after what you have i wonder( * an ocean view? lol like what is ittttttttt?!!!! a house, work from home, live in a climate state where you can be out all year mostly, a puppy, money security, married and safe and no medical bills. I figure thats the dream life I have prayed for and don't have, its good to hear that even someone who has it all still has days where they arent even satisfied, likes its not just me if I dont have something I pray To God for, or even if I did have the things listed above that I could still feel unsatisfied at times. because I always assumed once you had your dream list you would be at ease and just get to enjoy!
