Bro pole sana coz the fantasy you had about the western world isn't true. Unfortunately the majority of us leaving home for the West share that fantasy. The opportunities that you can get here are opportunities that many around the world pay lots of $$ to get. It did feel like, i wasted my life, in the 5yrs of my life Germany. The thing is, the success that i experienced in the 5yrs that followed, is in triple digits. Working hard is important, but Patience is the Key to success. Keep you head up

Learning the language is not a waste of time. It opens doors for a successful life. As long as you are fluent in the language you can get a very well paying job. The good thing is, if you are qualified you get a job no matter where you come from. You do not have to know someone to get the job and not every kenyan who is here is a nurse. After the language school you have an opportunity to do a course of your choice as long as you pass the entry exam.

Hata Kenya, most of us who went to University as regular students through JAB/ KUCCPS, we did not do our passion or dream careers. Sio Germany tu. We had to take the courses that we could get so that we have government sponsorship. I know this because we used to talk with other students in Kenya. In life, not all of us get to pursue our dream careers. I've learnt to take what comes my way, and find the good in it. Every job opportunity/career has it's pros and cons.

Pole sana you thought it was going to be kinda easy 😢. You can still do Cinematography in a few years. At least I knew the reality, because I had many colleagues from Europe and the USA we worked with in Kenya. Also, several colleagues studied for their masters abroad. So, that's why I applied for a Scholarship as a way to relocate here. I even took a break nikarudi Kenya and bought a car last year, so nataka kupima vile kutakuwa next year when I graduate from my masters.

After kurudi Kenya fir almost 2 years, I came back to Germany, juu heri DE juu hata job za lager zinakupea pesa, then you can invest home na huku kuna other benefits so survival is possible. Saa hii na-struggle nimalize shule, but bado my lager jobs give me more than jobless graduates back home. So, don't lose hope. You will make it with time, and that's my hope for myself as well.

Just avoid flashy cars if can’t afford, work hard, get some rest coz you can’t work everyday and be healthy. Build your own empire slowly without seeing what someone else got and by faith you will get there. You’ve gone too far to come back, but can invest back home little by little till you achieve what you want. Best luck and stay positive by believing in yourself.
