Wife and I went here for the first time in July and are going back in a few weeks. LOVE this place! We had to cancel some of what we ordered because what we already had on the table was so filling. Can’t wait to go back!!

We ended up getting similar items both times so if people say bad stuff about other items I can’t vouch for it but we loved these ones

Nailed it on the review. Loud, delicious food, quick good service, casual, a bit pricey. 3 times I've ate at Best Friend. Everything is good. BBQ grilled trio pork, beef and chicken and slippery shrimp is the bomb, but the best is the lollipop lamb, soo soo good. similar to 8 East at Cirqa.
I was hoping you were going to try the lamb, it's a must. I'll be back in Vegas next week staying at Park MGM going to Best Friend for the lamb. Cheers again

I've had the Slippery shrimp 3 times now. I could eat that about 3 times a week and never get tired of it. Did the tasting menu last time and was starving going in. I think it was like $69 and I was struggling near the end. Lot of food for the $. One of the best deals on the strip. Thanks for another great video!
I now have an idea of ordering Slippery Shrimo as an appetizer, entree and dessert 🍤 🤤

Nice review! My first time watching one of your videos. I was taken to Best Friend for my Birthday in 2020 just before Lockdown. It was an excellent experience much as you described. Thing is I live in West Los Angeles and I can have Kogi BBQ delivered at will. I’m in Roy Choi heaven. He used to have a brick and mortar restaurant near me but it closed during Covid and was replaced by a truck parked in a permanent location and that’s what I can order from. I noticed nothing from the truck menu and that should not be ignored. The fusion Korean/Mexican food is amazing! Even though it’s more expensive for that at the restaurant it’s cheaper and easier than driving to LA and tracking down a truck. So on a 3rd visit I recommend trying the Kogi menu selections. The short rib taco and kimchi qusadilla are two of my faves. But everything is great. What you had looked amazing. Nice review I need to add you to my list. Good job.

Came back to add. I was an OG fan (along with so many) chasing the truck (then trucks) and getting on long lines. I even wound up on an early UA-cam video as a food vlogger asked me to taste a dessert while I was on line and he had his order and was filming. It was crazy good.

We’ve both been out of high school over 20 years.
Our only child together is our rescue dog Gemma and she is almost 8. Rachael has 2 adult children who are 27 & 23.
We love BF! We sat by the DJ booth once and at the counter up front without a reservation once. AWESOME

Tacos in BF are my go-to love them so amazing.had the garlic chicken enjoyed it too.not fan of Kimichi but that's just me too sweet

I am a big spender in Vegas,but 40 bucks for fried chicken is insane and being from the south that fried chicken looked like shit!
It is a very different style than southern fried chicken that’s for sure

Interesting vlog, thanks for posting. Been following you for awhile now and I'm wondering - is there a cuisine that you would consider to NOT be worth repeating?
Oh great question, as far as restaurant our worst experience Marrakech and Casa Playa were our least favorites. For restaurant type it’s surprising but we would have a hard time repeating a lot of the Steakhouses since there are so many really good high end Steakhouses that provide a similar product, experience and quality
The food looked great but the dish’s by dish’s was plated very well l.how did the restaurant look overall ,was that bbq.

Is the portions smaller if you get the chef tasting menu for $69, rather than order a la carte?
Yes we did the tasting menu a couple years ago and they were a little smaller from my memory

i can not eat hotter than jalapeno's is it hotter than that?
I would say it might go a little past on some of the dishes, we definitely recommend asking the wait staff if you try it out
