- Hello everyone! Today, I would like to share with you an ASMR makeup video of a Oiran makeup/Japanese kimono experience in Kyoto.
We previously uploaded a Maiko and Geisha style ASMR makeup video, and it was so well received that we made a sequel.
However, I wanted to make it even more perfect! So we went to Kyoto.

Kyoto is the most exciting city. I have visited many times and have nothing but pleasant memories.
However, it is extremely hot in summer and very cold in winter.

3 weeks ago I went to Japan on a trip and walking through Kyoto I saw the model and her companions by chance!!!!I took several photos!!I was surprised to find the video also by chance!!

I don't think European people should dress up like this it's fine to admire and watch from outside but at the end of the day it would be disrespectful and cultural appropriation for a white person to do this. But the model sure looks stunning

There are many different types of kimonos, but this oiran's kimono is very labor intensive.

It's amazing how respectfully they talk about Maiko and Oiran. Westerns like us will never understand how japanese people and Maiko-san and Oiran dynamics works.
And they will never understand how we work either!

You used the words I was going to. Often I feel that the make up can be harsh and unflattering but this stylist did a fantabulous job of blending . WOW, the model is GORGEOUS, 🫢

I had the same problems(?) with this as with the geisha makeup videos. Unlike other ASMR, I cannot just listen. I find it so interesting, I have to watch. The second, is how much time and effort is required to achieve the "look." I love how she looks at the end, but it does take a long time to get there. The wig and all the added accessories were beautiful too.
