2CP can be frustrating, but it was fun to watch in OWL and the maps have brought me some great memories. Also, I’d like the maps to be reworked instead of removed completely because they’re really nice looking.
Hanamura and arguably industries wasn’t too bad. Paris and lunar are objectively the worst designed maps for any tournament, pro play or high level ranked ever created.
@Dylan Wong they are too small for escort or hybrid maps though. unless you mean to extend them some more, like maybe double their length but then you could just create new maps altogether.

Watching elite teams run defense on Anubis and Volskaya was awesome. Especially during dive comps. That being said glad to not play them in my metal ranked games on any role.

Imo 2cp maps where fun to watch but god awful to play. It’s the pinnacle of skill and coordination to make your team win on these maps, but in comp OW, you just don’t wanna play these. Snowballing is all too common
they shouldn't get rid of these maps because they are some of the most lore based maps in the game. they should just be reworked into another mode.
you could just do your hanzo roleplay in custom if you want to.
They just changing the game mode for 2CP maps. They not throwing years of work(maps) down the drain.

2CP is horrible in the chaotic ranked environment, but I'm going to miss scrimming these maps. So many amazing set plays and executions.
It's ok in scrims but it's still so bad, nobody likes them even in scrims.
