Super informative video once again, thank you. Just incase it’s of any use to anyone who doesn’t know, BPB accept blue peter badges for children. It’s easy to get one from the bbc but may take a few weeks to arrive. Usually your child has to submit something like a drawing or poem but everyone gets accepted who does. For two adults paying gate price and two children with blue Peter badges it cost £80 for all of us for the day. Thus will allow us to visit an extra time doing the same thing and the pleasure beach to gain extra revenue from us in other ways on our second visit we would otherwise not be able to afford. Long live BPPB ❤
The closing times always frustrate me, especially during high season when it's busy. I just wish they could stay open longer so people can enjoy more evening rides as the darkness falls. I was planning 4 visits this year but only doing 2 now because the 5pm closing time doesn't make the trip down from Scotland worth it as a day trip. I understand that by keeping the park open late means they have to pay the staff more but the up-spending more than cancels that out if people know that park is staying open later, therefore spending more money on food, drinks and merch.
Closing times are a joke, the pier owners will be so pleased they take a fortune on a night from visitors. The Halloween event could be so much more by opening most of the rides and make it more of a park experience like Universal do - you could buy a pass to walk round and sample the atmosphere, scare zones and rides at night then if you did not want to do mazes.
Journey to Hell was dreadful in 2022, haven’t done it since. They’ve been offered suggestions from pros in the scare industry and by people who’d pay to visit if it was different, but the ideas are continually ignored in favour of the current format.
It’s a real shame seeing one of my favourite parks seemingly in decline. With all the major investments coming to other parks in the UK, I fear BPB won’t be around much longer, especially if they don’t start taking onboard feedback from their customers. Their biggest money makers are those who holiday in Blackpool. On the day prices are a deterrent for visiting and the fact BPB still haven’t brought back a non rider ticket is beyond me. I really hope they will see sense soon and focus on the amusement park rather than attempting to brand themselves as a resort which exists within an already established resort.
Good video :) i wish they would scrap the E ticket system totally if they are keeping the current price structure. Id prefer them to have machines around the park where you can print off a wristband if needed even if it a small fee like 50p as ive not been to the park since these changes have come into effect and due to having 2 kids with me all the time it will become annoying to have to get my phone out all the time
Excellent video with many valid and useful points. It’s great they have the flexi tickets and they have great disability passes which you explained well. I’d hope to make it to BPPB this year.
As someone from the USA that season pass dose'nt sound like a season pass here a season pass you can go any day at anytime you dont have to reserve a particular day and needlessly get an surplus charge and show anything ro ride the rides if your in the park and thus paid for a ticket or pass you just enter a line easy as that
I think it's great that you can now change a date on a pre booked ticket as if your going with your Family and one of you is ill and cannot attend on the booked day you can rest easy that you can visit another day and not lose your money.
Great video as always Scott 👍 looking forward to opening day! And also looking forward to megafobia ERT in July 🤩, would you recommend any hotels near oakwood? We are thinking either the nearest premier inn / Travelodge, or maybe that Bluewater resort next door 🤔
i'll be at blackpool pleasure beach this saturday maybe you mike or mark could go on big dipper with me with it being my first time on it if you want to.
hi scott, i know it is a bit of a random question and you might not have the answer, but have you any idea what happened to the mist on icons launches? ive always wanted to know where it went
My best tip would be to turn the car around and had to towers instead OR if you already stuck in Blackpool there's plenty of other attractions / activities which are smarter uses of your time and money!
Thanks for update. Unfortunately I do see the demise of this park. Your video means that the family visit for 4 will not be Blackpool and will be alton towers or maybe even drayton or flamingo land not going to keep giving money to a company that is not listening to its audience.
Family of 4 so even advance booking puts us over 100 pounds. I feel alton towers are at least acknowledging their mistakes and putting right the wrongs. Drayton have again invested in new rides following updated rapids and area then vikings now new coaster plus shockwave refurb. When Blackpool offering any updates? Or listening to its fans, have a town Hall invite you guys along at least it food for thought. The paying guest and enthusiast like yourself is not the enemy.
@@garethcalleja2556 I agree, I was hoping it wasn’t just this video that’d put you off. BPB haven’t been quick to shut down the Ice Blast rumours so another ride could be going or gone with no replacement. Again.
Too short a day most days...good value still if you got season passes at a discount rate in winter when they were promoting them at a great price..but if you dont have season passes oh dear .. not great value at all..not surprised though...i am almost certain next year we will not renew and just get merlin passes instead
Might go up if me leg ever gets fixed 😒. The big pull of the pleasure beach is riding at night and seeing the unique illuminations . Bit much chance of that now . I remember and miss 11 pm closing 😕🧱👍🏽

Thank you so much for this info. This saved me £70

We’ve never really understood the logic in picking late night closing dates several months in advance without knowing what the weather will be like.
Totally agree with you there. Their business model plans are baffling at times. There must be a method in their madness.@@yourexperienceguide
great overview, not been in 20 years and going on my own in June, for couple of days, gutted its a 10-5…. even a 10-6 would be better! its mid summer!
Enjoy 🎢
I had no issue changing my day from a Saturday to Sunday last year. Didn't realise that changing a pre-booked day was a new feature.
I believe it was added late on last season
Great video Scott as usual. I’m so chuffed you are calling it “Blackpool Pleasure Beach” so I remember vividly where it is!

Nice video I’m planning to go on Sunday and go on some of the coasters that I haven’t been on (the big one and grand National)

Hi Scott, come and visit the Knutsford May Day fair. I think you’ll like it. I’ll be there with the family
Haven’t been for a few years, due a visit
Good information Scott, can't wait to be back, we have always got tickets its easier
Thank you 🙏
@@yourexperienceguide no problem Scott, hope beccas well
Thanks Scott great video. As a none rider I will not be going unless they bring back the none rider pass.
So many people are saying the same but BPB ignore the feedback

We can visit whenever but even during off peak days we have to pre book. It’s tedious.

Thanks Scott 4 info and price updates what do you think about the new rebrand
I’ve made a video about the rebrand 😉
Great info Scott, thank you! PS: any plans for a BIG 30 event? 🤫
Thank you 😊
I don’t think we’ll have any events at BPB this year
The real question is whats happened to the krazy coaster on the south pier. I went for a spin and its been pulled down!! NOOOOOO
Apparently it’s being refurbished
Great video scott cheers for the updates also will you be doing a meet up anytime for blackpool

Not a bad price scott but I still will call it Blackpool pleasure beach
Likewise 😅
Will u be going to pb on opening day?
Is it best to book tickets for Blackpool Pleasure Beach online or on the day?
Don’t you mean Pleasure Beach Resort? ;)
Where’s that? 😮
Got to move with the times!

Should be 🎢

Wish they would do late nights until 10pm on Fridays in the summer.
Imagine going on Vahalla 2nd March... 🥶
They did 9pm Fridays during illuminations but nobody went to them sadly 💀
@@yourexperienceguide Would be much better the summer months rather than Illumination time which is right at the end.

Not too sure of the criteria sorry 😢
