I buy a lot of vinyl on eBay and one nice touch is a small thank you note accompanying my purchase to say "thank you" and "visit my store." You can also say, "If anything isn't perfect, please let me know and give me an opportunity to correct it," to prevent lower scores.

Been collecting and playing vinyl since '75. Some visually disgusting scratches can actually play without any discernible sound quality impact. The best thing to do is get it on your turntable and see how it plays and be honest with your sales post: "Has visible scratches yet plays perfectly fine" or "Track three side B skips, rest plays fine"

Great video. Just starting out myself very late bloomer at selling on eBay at age 57 and every bit of information helps. Almost my first sale I went to I found a near mint collection of albums I will soon be selling. One question what’s the going rate on shipping an album.

Good video! Very informative. Do you have any problem selling LPs with the spine of the cover wore off where there is no longer any print on it? I have a lot of original albums with a lot of use and playing time enjoyment. Thank you for a prompt response.
Actually no people tend to not care about album cover they care about the record

I hate when i buy records online and they've sold me an album with skips. A lot of these guys do not listen to the record before they sell them. I don't mind scratches and scuffs as long as it doesn't skip.
It's not worth it to listen to them, especially for low priced albums. That would be about an hour for every album.
@@WellnessWizdom guess I'll have to get the magnifying glass out and start pinpointing blockages in the vinyl grooves 🤣
I learned that their final value fees are a fn ripoff and I'll never sell another album on Ebay
Don't you also have to monitor your sales every couple of hours to make sure you ship same day to keep your seller ratings up?
my onpy issue is the whole shipping fee. im seeing $9.99 for items over 2 lbs . I see u seem not to be having to pay that at all i dont know anything lol
