      I totally agree with you.
I had the same thing with an acoustic guitar that I was serious about buying. All the reviews had people playing in open tunings and playing ninety thousand notes a minute, which was of no help to me. Finally I found a review where the guy played ordinary chords, strummed and fingerstyle, which gave me a much better idea of how the guitar might sound in my hands.
I guess Fender would say that it is a pro level bass, being played by a pro level player. But I would still like to hear how it sounds on a slow blues or a Motown number, not just fast slap bass.

Maybe she actually wants to slap, but Brendon Urie banned her from doing it on P!ATD songs? (apparently the LGBT snowflakes who make up most of Panic’s fanbase get triggered by it - they say it’s cultural appropriation)

Played one today at guitar center, then played the $799 player p bass I think, and a used p bass special edition deluxe. The American II stood out on all aspects. Wow, will be getting one in white soon, with prob rosewood neck over maple, unless someone has a good argument for maple over rosewood. What a nice bass.

Man... I'm at loss. I might trade up my Gibson Thunderbird for this. One of the shops near me has this in the Miami Blue color... I used to have an American Standard pbass... any idea how these compare?

Thanks for the Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered - Riddleagan Skillful Playing Remedy (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a great one off guide for learning complex guitar chords and become a pro without the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend after many years got excellent results with it.

I have a 2012 Fender American Standard precision bass with custom a shop 60's precision bass pickup, the same colors but I don't have the maple fretboard. I totally love it. I bought it brand new 7 years ago.

Why there's such a widespread butthurt over slap n pop technique. Did Supreme Bass Council issue a relevant fatwa?

I've played bass since 1969 and mud is not a word I'd ever associate with a split pickup Precision. A single coil Tele maybe.

Everyone complaining about a slap demo instead of a classy bass line. When you pick up a bass and give it test drive- slap is an excellent way to get a feel for control and over all sound- you get bottom end with high end over tones in one swoop, also one can slap with tone dial in diffrent positions... if slap technique sounds good then there's a solid chance all other tones, styles and techniques will sound just as good. Im no expert musician but I own three fender basses and a few other brands and been playing bass since 1992.
