TCG pre Internet is where it's at. Ive never been into TCG now where everyone looks online for the best strategy and buys individual cards. I do think it's awesome you're focusing on old tcgs or defunct tcgs is a cool niche for the hobby.
Ohhhh boy !!! I am huge into the smaller lesser known TCG's. My dream is to write a coffee table book about tcg's. I have tons and tons and tons of final fantasy cards.....I don't have anyone to play it with anymore
I made it into a Petedor video even for a brief second hype! I hope the person that wins the giveaway gets into and enjoys this promising game it’s a ton of fun.
"If everything is special then nothing is special" excellent quote to describe MTG now days. I love the new art the cards have but every card seems to have like 4-5 different versions and foil and non foil versions. Makes it feel like theres no point in pulling boosters if nothing special can ever get pulled. Might as well let some idiot sped 300$ on a box and just buy the singles for 2-10$ or what ever. I loved pokemon because they have the secret rares of the cards in the set but theres only like a few per set. If you got paper you can buy them if not you buy the standard ones for cheap. But MTG took things to 10000 and its just way too much. Not to mention MTG isnt about the game anymore, like video games it went from a fun hobby with fun games, into how much money is my shit worth, i dont give a fuck if the game or card is good as long as its an "investment"
The Naruto Bandai CCG was fantastic and lasted about 7 years with over 30 sets. Sealed product has gotten ridiculously expense but the game is super fun.
Trading cards are a timeless thing Imo They will always be a great way to meet new people and find new ways of entertainment. Nothing like the school.days of trading with friends.
You need to fix the playlists on that channel. Some have videos that aren't anything to do with the playlist topic, and aren't even by you. It looks like they were added to the playlists by mistake and gives a sloppy first impression.
This is the only TCG i was able to get into and really love the streamlined mechanics and gameplay. Thanks again for introducing another money sucking hobby to me Pete 😢
Since you were talking about .hack recently, there's actually a .hack trading card game too! Then also Binding of Isaac's Four Souls as far as indie card games.
Hi Pete just made a Mythrel account to give it a go. Username is Shakey and as far as TCGs go I used to play Magic back in the day & play a bit of Hearthstone now & again. By the way All Gen Gamers was the best podcast ever.
Username: guts Favorite card games were the original gameboy pokemon card game. Played it when it released when i was in elementary school. Tough as nails, and really rewarding for me personally.
Only played Pokemon and Yugioh really with a bit of Hearthstone. Went pretty hard on yugioh for years. Will def check out this game and be binging the videos on your other channel man!
I had Pokemon cards when I was a kid but didn't get fully into it. I was tempted to buy Final Fantasy cards as a final fantasy fanboy but decided not to because they are expensive to buy when your not gonna play the card game.
As much crap as Limited Run Games gets, I liked their trading cards that came with their releases. Any game bought now doesn't come with one. Outside of that, the only card game I truly liked and got good at was the Final Fantasy VIII in game card mini game. I used to love to get the card sized bootleg holographic Pokémon stickers from those cheap vending machines, they were everywhere in the late 90's.
I tried getting into TCG thinking it was like Poker. Set number of cards, and you know the odds of an outcome. But then i found out MTG is pay to win, so i lost interest
A lot of people have trading cards as a hobby, no good reason for you to call it out as a vice. I'd rather you really back your words of "you do you," and let people share their hobbies without criticism
Pete continues to be the king of wholesome content on UA-cam.
I never knew people still collected Eye of Judgement, I just bought a really nice press pack for the game a few months ago.
I personally have no interest in this kinda of stuff but glad to see pete just highly motivated to makes videos again

Yugioh will always be my favorite TCG
Trading Card Games can be super addicting and super expensive; especially if you try to get the rare ones.
The actual cards are beautiful and the holos look excellent.
Wow!!! I remember this channel, and was the channel who inspired me to buy the Meta Knight plush from 2008, (or was it 2007?).
Love playing anything with solid aggro. Like Weenie rush deck. Red/white aggro in magic the gather. Murloc shaman deck in hearthstone love it
But being a 90's kid i've played anything and everything TCG that i could. Love all of them.
Magi Nation! Great Gameboy Color RPG! Pretty hard to find too.
Dude! You got me into video game collecting and I like you recently found that I love TCGs, so this is awesome!
I really liked Teppen which I digital only I might give it this a try

The Naruto Bandai CCG was fantastic and lasted about 7 years with over 30 sets. Sealed product has gotten ridiculously expense but the game is super fun.

Where did you pick up the Lord of the Rings trading cards? I'd definitely like to check those out

Dorrgang
Rage is a game I miss
Love pete❤
It baffle me how you're able to afford a Retro gaming AND a TCG collection lol
I thought a new hobby would be going outside, preferably in nature, but I guess I was expeting too much.
I tried getting into TCG thinking it was like Poker. Set number of cards, and you know the odds of an outcome. But then i found out MTG is pay to win, so i lost interest
no pogs :(
I'd rather you didn't support gambling, but you do you.
