This was great to see!!!!!!!!! I first went there some 35 years ago. New and tried to work with David Yoder, original builder, a bit. Continued going for years. Met Bill and Steve 22 years ago and was fortunate to eventually be hired by them and was their manager for 4 seasons and helped with many of the improvements they made. met many wonderful people there and have wonderful memories. Wish the new owner great sucess! Wish I had the energy left to drive the 265 miles to visit one more time! And a hello to any old friends who might still be going there! I'm Bill
Wow, what a great history you have with the property and community there! You'll need to get a friend to help you make the drive so you can see for yourself the new changes!
I love Timberfell. I am excited about a long needed change. I have been going there for several years now. I have met so many nice people there. I plan on spending more weekends there.
Yes, it was long overdue for some changes. It will be a very different place when Michael is done with it! And the construction isn’t stopping anyone from being friendly and having fun!
I think I was there the week before you! In fact, the green fake grass rug two spots up from you is mine. It was pouring rain when I left and thought better of putting a wet rug in the RV so I donated it! The new owner does indeed have big plans. I understand he brings many years of campground experience in that he owns a much larger campground not too far from Timberfell. Next year's visit should be an eye opener!
Too funny! We noticed the green grass rug and wondered who forgot it! Yes, there are so many changes going on, when its all complete, we won't recognize the place!
I recall a very chilly water pool on a hot summer day. The Annex was a much better place to stay for me since the flush toilets and hot showers were below my room. They were small rooms for sleeping.
@@JamesandPaulsRVAdventures I am using my lap top and my own browser. I see the clock. I also see the link once the drop down to your description. Sorry, I see no link in the video screen at 1:05.
That’s strange.. I inserted it at the 1:05 time when we are pointing to it onscreen. I see it on my Mac and IPhone. What browser are you using? Do you see it at the end of the video- I also feature it during the last few seconds.
I am using my Lenovo laptop computer on Windows. The link did not appear on screen on the upper right of the screen at 1:05. It is appearing on the "Show More" button.
went to timberfell for the first time this weekend, and while i did enjoy it and have no real complaints, i just wanted to point out that the wifi is definitely not up to par. i come prepared to not have wifi anyway, so no biggie for me, but it connected but had no actual internet. overtaxed perhaps, it might need a better setup. the wifi does exist, but works, not so much
Thanks for the update! We were on the lower level in the RV area close to the pool. While the internet coverage was good there, it did slow down significantly as more campers arrived for the weekend. We've found that at alot of places.. great during the week and slooooow on weekends when everyone is online.

We’ve never slept in the Annex or the Lodge, since we are always in our RV!
@@JamesandPaulsRVAdventures Yes, you have an RV. I tent camp and cabin camp. I like to add a bit of spice to your awesome chili of camping stories.
We appreciate the different perspective!!
Timber!😁
Falling wood! Lol
@@JamesandPaulsRVAdventures Actually TImberfell possesses a lot of "hard" wood.
I have viewed your prior video several times. I did not see the link for the newbies to view.
At 1:05 the link appears in the upper right hand corner. What device are you watching it on?

i was in the annex, so basically right in the thick of things as well.
Oh yea.. so you should have had good WiFi, when the WiFi is good! LOL
Please, no David Spade comments! Haha.
James does look like David Spade with his long hair!
How can a guy that likes guys and girls can a man just come and see what is up
I'm sure you can.. the campground is open to men if you just want to check it out and see what its about.
