This just goes to show you that you can only trust the dollar store with the simplest of meals. Anything more than that and you are asking to get the squirts for the next decade and a half.
Cool Cat a few years ago I tried tamales in a can from the dollar store. I'm still wiping. LOL!
😅
I think it's the thrill of playing Russian roulette with food poisoning :)
I only ever trusted their dry goods. Wolfe is nuts for even putting these things in his cart haha.
Can’t say I have ever tried any food from dollar tree or if I ever will lol, but I’ll give them credit where it’s due, I always get birthday cards/wrapping paper and what not, can’t beat those prices
A frozen hotdog...
I cannot imagine a more pointless thing. It would likely take as much effort microwaving it as it would just boiling a damn hotdog!
First
Yeah, it's really not that hard or time-consuming to make a hot dog.
BOIL?! Monsters. Flat pan, 325F, 6 minutes, rotate every minute or two.
I score the skin and microwave mine. they split apart a bit and taste great with mustard and ketchup! I'm a chef.
wait, you guys BOIL hotdogs???
These do get hard and chewy after 3-4 minutes. To evade this, always use the defrost setting on the microwave to bring the entire thing down to room temp, remove the bread, microwave the beef for 20-30, rebuild it and microwave for 10 seconds.
Wow thanks so much
this man microwaves
Jesus, just make a burger at that point
*Woah* 8/10 for an off-brand slider from Dollar Tree?! Someone should give them a prize for breaking the (untrue) rule that Dollar Tree only carry shitty food!
Veggie Burgers and Periogies got better ratings I think.
We the people, are Americans, so we can obviously risk our health to try these and to get health issues, but we have Larry doing it for us. Boy am I thankful! Thank you for showing us the good, bad, and the ugly for the spare of our dollar. Amen!
Guess i'm not going to sleep yet. Well played Larry
Thank you, Larry, for your excellent reports to us, the people, on your visits to your personal adult playground (and other various locations).
Thanks, Larry! It's good to know that when Joey Chestnut drops by for lunch, I can feed him training meal for around 60 bucks.
What about Matt Stonie?
We don’t have this type of store in Australia so it’s bloody fascinating to watch this stuff. Two burgers for a dollar!? Mind is blown!
Nice to see another aussie
Aussie Aussie Aussie, oy oy oy
I always heat these types of foods using the defrost setting. That way the bread doesn't become hard and chewy. Even reheating pizza I use the defrost setting.tfs your vlog 💙
🚡🚡🚡 *do NOT read my name!* 🚡🚡🚡
QueenBee Bargains thanks for the advice, I will certainly try that
It depends on the wattage of your microwave, you can start out at 1 minute, then work your way up.
Defrost 👍
Don't read my profile picture oh no another copycat account
With all the TVP in some of these products, they're almost Vegan friendly!
Just the video elixir I was looking for after having my hip replaced, some fresh WAWE. As always, Larry delivers the cure for boredom. Bravo, sir!
I love how he says "For you the people"
Make the dollar tree pizza
Thin crust
Sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni
Good thin crust pizza for $4
Gotta eat it fresh out the oven
Nathan's are my favorite hot dog. When I'm making them, that's my go to. They're more then expensive (unless I can find a sale), but if I can't afford Nathan's, I don't have hot dogs. It's the only brand I like.
After living in a hotel room for about six months, I think I figured out how to make these edible.
If you microwave just the meat wrapped in the plastic or paper towel and then when it's to temp , add it to the bun then put the whole thing in the microwave for approximately 20 seconds.
My favorite is the fast bite rib sandwich and also egg rolls and Jamaican beef patties they sell at the 99.
Yo those look like the burgers they give me in school
Thank goodness college it’s a different story
Because they are
F O R Y O U T H E P E O P L E
thanks man best thing to watch late night very entertaining !
i love nathan's individual dogs!
I like plochman's mustard in the squeeze barrel.
I've ate Nathans while waiting for my flights at the Orlando and Atlanta airports, and they were tasty dogs. Still I've seen Bar-S Franks and Hot Dog buns sold at my Dollar Tree. They're not as good but if you have more mouths to feed might be a better deal.
I just picked these sliders up from Dollar Tree because of this video. They were great!
I just tried the Cheeseburger Sliders for the 1st time thanks to my girlfriend. I have to agree that they are pretty good for a $1.00 quick snack, and, yes they do compare favorably to the more well known White Castle's sliders. Well done Dollar Tree!
WOW! Fast bites made a great product? Amazing.
Good review. I'll try both and let you know if I agree. I tried the sausage and pancake on a stick and it was delicious with warm syrup.
I also tried the Michael Angelo lasagna. Delicious💲
@6:36 thats what Lorena Bobbitt said.
Larry I understand about the directions on certain food some will have like half a dozen of direction on how to cook from frozen to looking ok to eat..
Thanks for not putting ketchup on that hot dog Larry. Now I'm going to finish off these Cadbury eggs and go to bed.
BAND 1 OMG!!!! ketchup on a hot dog!!!! The masses are asses. Even as a child, I used either Coney chili, mustard and onions or all three. Maybe a touch of sauerkraut if I was feeling adventurous but for the most part I have always been a purest with the Michigan style Coney dog!!!
Yep. Mustard is the only appropriate condiment for a hotdog.
I have to disagree... Hot dogs need ketchup, and cadbury eggs suck.
Codeman73H1337 in the words of Dirty Harry... nobody and I mean nobody puts ketchup on a hot dog.
I don't like mustard, only ketchup
It's Nathan's knucklehead!!!!
What did you expect !!?? LOL !!
Thanks for sharing! I'm curious... The labels that you have shown state the serving size for the burgers is 24 and for the hot dog it says 12! I'm guessing these aren't from the actual dollar store packages?
I always stop and watch your videos 👌 keep up the great work
Yay you're alive!!!
Hey Larry! Have you seen the Ore-ida "just crack an egg" meals? I'd like you hear your review on them! I haven't tried them yet, but they look pretty good!
So glad you are eating this so I don’t have too
Imagine if larry started playing video games? I wouldn't mind watching those videos.
Plasti Sue and the THEME music in the background... both TRULY MISSED when Mr Wolfe Pit are NOT making new videos!
Yay the adult playground is back.
Square patty on a round bun... great
I love your videos ! Keep it up they’re great
You can get the White Castle sliders for 38 cents a piece if you buy the 16 count at Wal-Mart...
JS Krawz .38 x 16 = 6.08
Nice try
Aaron Turner it's still a better deal than this burger, that's why people buy in bulk
Kwesi afriyie-blay I can see your point
Considering what goes into a typical vienna, I cannot see how the dollar tree version would be any different :-).
Glad you're back at it!
You know I think I never thought to cut a hot dog with warm butter. Lol
Who needs to buy an assembled hot dog at the grocery store? Make your own!
The music is like backround music from a unity game for mobile
First thing I said when I saw those burgers was those buns look good 👍
I work at family dollar I eat the morning one I think it’s the one dollar brisket greddel with cheese idk if it’s that bad tho it’s cheap I try not to eat to much Im kinda losing a lot of weight so it’s odd when I eat things like that 😅 I know I need a more diverse diet more or less lol
Just did some mental math here: hot dogs come in packages of eight normally weighing about a pound. 16oz \8 Dogs is 2oz each dog. Plus a bun that weighs 1.5oz - you get to a 3.5oz Hot Dog and Bun from Nathan’s. lol
But buying a pack of hot dog buns and a pack of hotdogs is around 2 bucks...? Thanks for your videos :) I really do enjoy them ❤️
I love Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, they are the only brand that I eat. I only buy them on sale, a lot of times they are around $6 for eight of them. I try to get them for around $4 a pack. So, a single serving one for $1 isn''t out of line.
@LifeBeginsWithChrist The last time I went to NYC, I made a special stop to go to the Original place at Coney Island, and ate as many as I could, they are awesome. I don't know what they do, but you know that it's not a bunch of weird Pork/Chicken/Beef parts mashed together. Whoever thought to do that, and why do people actually buy junk like that? I'd rather go hungry.
these actually taste good at least to me they do
Special note for anyone who likes Brown Mustard . Kroger band is the best imho 🙂
Wow I thought you would hate the hot dog. Besides that this was a great video.
was not expecting that to good. well what do know.
Instead of thawing for 24 hrs
Just store em in the fridge
Eat em within 3 days
“Cut the weenie in half” 😂🤣😂🤣
Thaw them in the fridge. Pan fry the meat, works every time.
The background music reminds of of the "Unsolved Mysteries" theme song.
Has anyone noticed what the nutrition facts say for "Services Per Package?"
Sliders say 24 servings per container. So, we cut each slider into 12 pieces?
Hotdog 12 servings per container. So, we cut the hotdog into 12 pieces?
This is exactly how school food is
Certified Gold!!!!!
Certified Gold!!!!!
Anyone had the TGI Fridays Bacon BBQ Sauce Sliders? Those things are soo good!
I personally love these. However, I steam them and add more cheese.
Never saw a Nathan Hotdogs at my Dollar Tree
yyyyyaaaaaaayyyyy the Plastisou is back!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhh I've missed you!
i usually buy the pak from the supermarket
Are you ok, you have not posted in more than a week? The bun breaking in half was not your fault. I never use those type buns for just that reason. Here in GA we have a "U" shaped bun that is usually sold in the deli department of grocery stores. It is preformed as I mentioned and usually will not break. They are like pita bread only formed, not flat.
Carlos Danger approves of this.
Nice I’ve tried these there so good
Looks like fast bites has been watching your videos lol.
1:40 that says 24servings on the sliders
I buy the turkey bacon they sell for a dollar and make turkey jerkey out of it.
I need to watch this channel high🤣👏🏽
the nathans dog is one of the 2 best made, 6 times more expensive then the regular dog, so,
My feed is giving me Larry's Dollar Tree reviews and Steve1989's pre Vietnam era C rat reviews
I'm still trying to figure out which is s the better (?) eating experience.
🤣🤔🤨🤷
For you! The sheeple.
Looks identical to school food.
Good content as usual i like the vedio wolf pit i reached over 200 Subcribers thanks for being such an inspiration keep up the good work be careful god bless Q food reviews
A single hotdog for a dollar is never a good deal, you can always get 4 for a dollar if you make it at home, but if you are going to buy one for a dollar I would recommend you go to a restaurant instead of a dollar store.
God i havent eaten in like 4 days now & all of this cheap ass food looks so appealing. I wish I even had 4 dollars lol
Been missing your videos, sir!
Wet cardboard taste better than White Castle sliders😂💀
Anybody else notice those servings per container
I love dowsing my burger in ketchup 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Nathan's are definitely my favorite. That and Hebrew National since I get the 97% less fat hot dog as I'm one of those people that counts their calories >.>
What the hell did you call the plastic knife?
Damn, how much mustard does this guy need on a hot dog?
I hope I can find something like these here in the UK, especially the hot dog. The bun is the perfect bread to meat ratio. Don't you just hate those hot dogs where they're in those bug puffy buns where you end up tasting mostly bread? Those things fucking suck.
American cuisine at its finest
I just microwave an Oscar Myer for 30 seconds and put it on a bun if i want a hotdog
Those burgers are in the visitation room in prison.
We eat that at my school damnit
"servings per container 24" hold up...
Glad the Nathan's tasted good, would be a real disappointment as their dogs at their famous location are delicious!
Bend your left hands fingers lol. Im hungry now
Bunderburger Ratio.😂
I AM THE PEOPLE - PIT NATION
Gahhh mustard. I'll never understand how people like that stuff
1:38 If one twelfth of one of those sliders is 4.8 oz, then each slider weighs around 3 pounds...
(yes, I know that that is from a large package of sliders that you can order online)
