you forgot the prawler, also its not the best combo in every situation, that's why he the best talon world imo, because he knows perfectly witch combo to use in almost every situations (either prawler before Q or after, or W+R+AQA etc)
I think the simplest way to explain it is that if they have many melee tchamps they'd be really tanky and the lethality squishy build will be really bad since they would all build armor. Hence the goredrinker build which makes talon more durable and helps him shred the enemy's armor with his blackcleaver sustain with gore and DD while dealing very reapecabe damage. But the main idea that you are a tanky drain tank assassin that plays for utility with black cleaver for your team. Hope I helped.

@kyokokirigiri100 I haven't seen talon in years but look at this gameplay. You cant be far enough away because he just infinitely jumps across the map. You cant outplay the skillshots because they don't exist. He's literally clicking on them one singular time and they spontaneously combust. It's cringe gameplay, and not just a talon thing. Plenty of league champions have this kinda problem. But even irelia has conditions to engaging. But this is just "hurr durr hop hop hop untargetable you got one shot hop hop hop" lol
@TimOver-ch7pw you wish but even if it were true it wouldn't make this gameplay any more skillful. He simply ignores all terrain between himself and any squishy, then pushes buttons to execute from 100%hp. What sick counterplay does your headcanon create for a jhin in this situation? Lol
