You might recall the visit of Qalayi wallahs to polish utensils, binayi wallahs who wove beautiful pattern into your furniture with cane, even your own family members who got together to embellish razais, stitch ghararas and embroidered linen.

Noor , maza agaya yeh saara kuchh dekh kar. Wonderful. I still can't sit still. Crochet knitting and embroidery are story of days bygone but I either have a book in my hand or pen and paper .
Another thing is the use of grinding stone, sil butta as we call it. Why sil, everything you displayed made me feel terribly nostalgic.
