Ty I appreciate that. I think it’s still a good idea if you are going to collect thing with card board to have a dehumidifier but even then I still have one warp. Jordan is still the king haha
Bought the Mariah Carry Album Funko 9 days ago on release. Got it today and the cardboard is bowed. Idk if its a moisture issue or factory. None of my other album funkos are bowed and they're sealed.
That sucks the only one of mine that has a bow I left the plastic on till I noticed it then I took it off I guess hoping If I laid it flat it would be ok it’s still not ok. What ever it’s from I now take the plastic off to be safe
I just received my first Funko comic cover of Wolverine. The reason I was wondering about if I should take the plastic off is because it has air bubbles on it. Have you had that problem? Thanks great video
I bought the first comic cover they came out with and did not take it off and it held moisture and ruined the cardboard backing I have taken it off everyone since.
I would like to agree with that but the ones that I did not take the plastic all the way off warped the ones I did, did not that might be a crazy coincidence but I’m not risking it. But i value your view on it and that was my first take till my super man and one other looked like trash.
@@Doomdaydelights Sorry to hear my friend. Fortunately mine have been ok (put a couple holes in The Joker though), my Superman and Batman is still sealed from day 1. I removed the seal entirely from Stan Lee as I think they actually look a lot better removed and out that flimsy box to be quite honest. You have an amazing collection btw, keep up the grind 😉.
I agree I think they just look better out, I wish my Superman would have made it in warped but that’s life you wind some you lose some. Ty I appreciate it
Whats the best way to display the album pops? Nails trough the holes could damage the cardboard inside but I don't want to permanently stick them on the wall in case I need to move them
My problem with these covers and i just recently started to pick some up but my only real issue is finding scratches and little specs inside the case. I guess if you really wanted to you can just remove the case but there’s a lot of risk there so it’s a no win situation. I like the idea of these but man does it have it’s faults.
I think it depends on where u live. For me the answer is no I have been trying to dehumidifier for years and I can still see the top of boxes pulling up.
I have seen nobody else with this problem. You would think more collectors would talk about this if it was happening. Taking the cellophane off does hurt the value, no longer mint condition and now it can get scratched and get dirty. Maybe you Superman cardboard was packaged like that from manufacturer.
The Superman did not come in that way I review all of my collection and that full video is still up. I don’t believe there are that many channels that actually collect these covers or albums or vhs as they don’t resale well or ship well, I would rather have one without the cellophane and no warp them with it and all messed up so I guess mint is subjective , and also if the cellophane is what makes it mint what about the pops that came with it are they now not mint because everyone took it off? But idk just speaking from experience nothing else
I have only had it happen twice both times the wrap was still on. I honestly think you could get away with just poking holes in the top of them were they have the breathing holes but I don’t take a chance anymore and I take it all the way off
Dude you called these warped covers from the start and you delivered! 👍 OMG the Jordan and the BK crown is genius! 🤣
Ty I appreciate that. I think it’s still a good idea if you are going to collect thing with card board to have a dehumidifier but even then I still have one warp. Jordan is still the king haha
Thanks for the tip Wayne. I still have that crap on my Albums and comic covers I probably will remove now thank you.
I have dehumidifier and all and I still had that problem I would it won’t hurt the value of them if anything it will help over time
Great video I just collect comic covers but with a hair dryer warm up the stickers and they come off flawlessly.
I have never tried that I will have to do that on my next one ty

Any time. That’s an awesome one

It can only happen if there is moisture in the air when sealed at factory. You only need to pierce the holes, no need to take the full seal off.

I use Velcro command strips they work great
@@Doomdaydelights how do you do that while keeping the outer box? doesn't it damage the cardboard outer box??
You have to take it out of the cardboard
I've been getting the comic covers as they've been coming out... I'm going to have to re check these, thanks for the tip!
Once I noticed it happened to the Superman I quickly got it off the rest of them and I have a dehumidifier
can you check them and give us an update? @raze

Great review I’ll b taking the plastic off mine like u said.
Ty
thanks for the tip. i have the first kiss glow 4 pack.
Yw. That’s an awesome four pack.
Can I just get a dehumidifier and leave everything on box?
I think it depends on where u live. For me the answer is no I have been trying to dehumidifier for years and I can still see the top of boxes pulling up.
I open a hole around the breathing hole an left box on it I hope that's good and I order a dehumidifier fingers crossed

@@Doomdaydelights Do you have any hanging on the wall? I have thought about opening them and doing that to save shelve space.
Yes I do I did a video on how to hang them as well I bet u would like

I need you to do a Walmart when regardless please
I don’t understand
Good to know I never own any of that kind yet.😁
Honestly, I never had any issues, plus i never saw a warped one in stores
how long do you have your comic covers?
I have only had it happen twice both times the wrap was still on. I honestly think you could get away with just poking holes in the top of them were they have the breathing holes but I don’t take a chance anymore and I take it all the way off
Since the day they released them
Comic covers are the best pops
They are nice
In a previous video you said we should take off the cellophane because it will ruin your pop
I don’t remember saying that but maybe?
I've been pinching s hole 🕳 since the beginning and do far its good? Great video 👍 😎
Finally someone how gets it!!!! Haha ty
Great video and advice
Ty brother I appreciate
