My Name is Menzi Mkhabela and I am former learner who matriculated at Far North Secondary School. I was not a top achiever . I wanted so much to get distinctions but I could not because My Principal implemented a school camp during exams .It was difficult to study because the boys were always making a noise at night .My prelim results were so bad . I really admire her determination. I am currently in matric and it's only now that I realize that I've really f'ed up. I have not found a study timetable that works for me and it's really scary because time is moving very fast and I'm afraid I might not make it even though I'm capable. To everyone who's in the lower grades START NOW. Leaving everything for grade 12 is not going to work take it from me

Wow❤🎉, I am in grade 10 studying physical sciences and those other subjects. I've always been one of the top learners from primary till today, but when I got to grade eight I lost control over the steering wheel that was channeling me to study. Although I was still passing making it into the top 5 then 3 and even attending an Engineering Camp hosted by Wits and Protec I still was not pleased with my marks throughout the year. This year term two I passed but not with the marks I was hoping for, and I then told myself that no matter what I will pass term 2 going forward with remarkable marks. God then blessed me with a brother and a sister from another mother's, today my 2 best friends and I were declared the top 3 in the grade 10 section for discipline and academic performance.

I am also in the same situation where i was a top achiever throughout my primary years and in grade 8 i was part of the top 3 achievers in the grade. Now i am in grade 9 and i started to lack very much so i tried to bring the determination and drive that i had throughout the past years and use it in term 2 exams. So i am now waiting for my report Term 3 but i am very inspired by her and the quote" Work like a slave in order to live like a queen". From now on i will carry that with me❤.

The advice she gave here is golden. I'd apply it to many areas of life. We often think success is determined by how well we do in school. But no, there's more. We stop dreaming when we get out of class which is wrong because we aren't gifted the same and we definitely don't share the same passions. The gifts and talents you have are advantages and tools for your success. God gave them to you not to ignore them, but to use them for your own good. Cultivate good habits and make sure you're better at what you're really good at doing. We just have to make time, be organized, keep holding onto the goal and work hard until you achieve it. It always seems impossible until you actually do it. People who want to be doctors, actors, musicians etc, even wanting to become better in character, they can *definitely* do that. If you really want it, be uncomfortable, get disciplined and get used to keep learning, as my sister here just said. I absolutely took in a lot of what she said. Thank you for this video my brother.

I hadn’t placed in my schools top 3 for my grade 8 school year and I really want to improve so I can get better grades throughout to Matric(and maybe place first in the school or even province if I work really hard~🤭) I’m a high achiever but I want to be my very best and this motivates me a lot cause I want to be in the Biomedical field, or become a doctor and such, hopefully being able to go overseas for higher education or even a job ☺️

If you get 100% in exam , they discard the SBA😊, They analyze, if your SBA doesn't boost your marks they scrap it ,if it does then they include it
If your sba results decreases your results for final , then they disregard your sba marks
